of the Ocean Nine, Makai Course, in Princeville Kauai, about eight 
hundred yards from the nearest beach, and walking distance to three 
great restaurants.

Walk upstairs, winding around a lush tropical atrium, to a large 
living area.  This Princeville, Kauai Vacation Rental house is 3400 
sq ft under roof. Enjoy panoramic views of ocean, fairways, 
mountains and waterfalls. Walk out on one of two lanais, and enjoy 
fresh tropical evenings as the sun sets behind Bali Hai across 
Hanalei bay.

In this Princeville Kauai Vacation Rental, there are King size beds 
in two of the Master Bedroom Suites and two doubles in the third. A 
daybed in the Living Room. Two futons for extra guests or extra 
family.

Upstairs, a "great room" (New furnishings) of Living, Dining, and 
Kitchen areas, with windows all around, and two decks. Gorgeous 
views of ocean, mountains, waterfalls, and golf course in this 
beautiful North Shore of Kauai. Directions provided in our 
own "coffee table book" to all the best Princeville and Hanalei 
restaurants, Kauai snorkeling beaches and shopping, with sample 
menus and comments from past guests. A fully equipped kitchen large 
enough for three cooks to work in harmony, or walk to one of three 
nearby restaurants in Princeville. Fully equipped with bed, bath and 
beach towels and linens, beach mats, and a library of paperbacks for 
that "lie on the couch and do nothing" day. Books and toys for 
the "little ones". A DVD library of movies made on the Island of 
Kauai.

You will have use of the Sunset Drive Community Association 
Recreation Center across the street. This excellent facility 
includes a clubhouse, swimming pool and tennis court.

The house is not air conditioned, but is cooled by the gentle Trade 
Winds, for which Hawaii is renowned.

Princeville is a development of some 500 acres on the north shore of 
Kauai, between the towns of Hanalei and Kilauea. What started as a 
coffee plantation in the mid-1800s is now the largest planned 
development on Kauai. Princeville is home to some of the finest 
resorts, golf courses and restaurants on the islands. Kauai’s north 
shore is also where you’ll find some of the most spectacular scenery 
in Hawaii. There are three main beaches in Princeville, which are 
Kenomene Beach, Kaweonui Beach and Puu Poa Beach. A wide reef along 
these beaches creates warm pockets for swimming and snorkeling in 
calm weather. Other area activities include tennis, golf, 
windsurfing, kayaking, fishing, sailing, helicopter tours and 
shopping. You can arrange for a private guided jungle hike, 
waterfall excursion or kayaking adventure. Just outside of 
Princeville along Highway 56 is a beautiful scenic overlook that is 
marked by a Hawaiian warrior state marker. From here you can look 
out over the lush Hanalei Valley. A little further south of 
Princeville you will find the Guava Farm, National Wildlife Refuge 
and Bird Sanctuary where you can learn about the native plants and 
animals on this incredible island. You can also tour the Kilauea 
Lighthouse that stands on the northern most point in all of Hawaii. 
Princeville is ideally located on the scenic north coast, making it 
a good home base while touring all the area attractions.
