Pinehurst Resort and Country Club was founded in 1885 by Boston soda
fountain tycoon James Walker Tufts. He built a New England-styled
resort and spa that offered guests luxurious accommodations, the
mild Winters of the South, and the beauty of the Spring, Summer and
Fall Seasons. Pinehurst now has 40 world-class golf courses within a
25-mile radius and tennis, croquet, equestrian events, antiques and
miles of pottery artists.
Pinehurst Resort and Country Club is famous for hosting the 1999 and
2005 US Open.It will also host the Open again in 2014!
The Village of Pinehurst offers fine clothing boutiques, golf
galleries, museums, a theater, wonderful dining options, and quaint
old-fashioned inns.
The community of Pinehurst and its neighbors boast friendly,
respectful citizens and clean beautifully landscaped areas. The
streets are lined with tall pine trees and colorful floral
plantings. Take pleasure in walking around Pinehurst on lovely brick
sidewalks.
This rental unit is newly furnished and located on Pinehurst Course
Number Three, Hole Three. Sit on your balcony and watch the golfers
or just enjoy the serenity. This location is private and secluded on
its own private road, less than a four-minute walk to the Pinehurst
Resort Clubhouse.
Enjoy lunch or dinner at the Clubhouse or just sit in one
of the many rocking chairs on the outside wrap-around brick lined
deck. Enjoy the amenities of four swimming pools; a spring-fed lake,
or the beach and marina nearby.
Play your choice of six championship golf courses that are like no
other in the world. There are also 18 clay tennis courts, six hard
tennis courts for an additional fee, or just spend some time
watching the horses train at the Pinehurst Harness Racetrack across
the street. No need to drive anywhere.
This is truly an enjoyable vacation you will remember for a long
time and want to come back. The spectacular Blue Ridge Mountains and
the lovely Atlantic Ocean Outer Banks are afew hours drive.
The location of is the condo is great. We are on a very private,
dead-end street. Sorry, no pets or pick up trucks are allowed in
this section.
Once you stay here, you will agree that Pinehurst is a hidden
