Description
|
|
This lovely townhome is located within the gated community of the Omni
Tucson National Resort and Spa, home of the PGA Tour's Tucson Open.
1400 square feet of living space, fireplace, kitchen, laundry room,
etc. You will be within walking distance of the golf course, spa and
tennis courts.
Nights in the desert can get cool, so the wood-burning fireplace in
the living room makes for a nice touch.
Enjoy the sun in your private backyard (no worries about being hit
with errant golf balls), or take a short walk to the community pool
and Jacuzzi.
Not only are the golf courses of Tucson National surrounding you, but
a short drive will take you to other, spectacular golf courses in the
northwest Tucson area, such as Ventana Canyon, The Golf Club at
Vistoso (rated third best public course in Arizona) and El Conquistador.
Major shopping in the area includes The Foothills Mall (10 minutes
away) and La Encantada (15 minutes away).
Hiking into the Catalina mountain canyons is also just a few minutes
away. There are three or four Hot Springs in the mountains which are
on established trails, and make for an exceptional day hike.
A new YMCA with monthly memberships, and a new branch of Pima
Community College, with free access to library and computers on line
are both within one half mile. The Northwest Medical Center is only
two miles away.
Living "inside the gates" of Tucson National is truly a great way to
spend the winter, or a winter vacation. We first came here about four
years ago, just by chance, and fell in love with the place and the
people. Omni Hotels is committed to making this the premier golf
resort in southwest Arizona, and have hired Tom Lehman to design nine
new holes of golf and remodel one of the existing nines so that, when
completed (Fall, 2005) the resort will have 36 holes of golf, with two
distinct courses, one traditional and one "Desert."

We like to ski in Colorado in February or March. Steamboat, Vail, or
Aspen/Snowmass are very nice.
