 Description

Better than being 'on the Lake' Home on the Range is situated on top of a hill on the Flathead Indian Reservation on 11.5 acres on the west shore of Flathead Lake. Overlooking the Lake, this lovely home was formerly a bed & breakfast facility. Now the entire house is available for reunions, weddings, and another other occasion where elegance, relaxation and being centrally located to winter and summer activities is a priority. Home on the Range offers five bedrooms, each with its own theme and all with one queen size log bed; 5 bathrooms; 1.5 kitchens; Dining, Living, Recreational and Laundry room. The wrap around deck faces the Lake and a covered porch entrance is where you'll find the propane barbecue.

 Attractions

If arriving by plane, Kalispell Int'l. Airport is the first choice, Missoula Airport would be second. There are several public access entrances for fishing, boating/sailing/ sightseeing and swimming that are very close by. Glacier National Park, Big Mountain and Blacktail Ski Resorts, the National Bison Range, West Shore Park and Lake Mary Ronan are just a few of the many attractions that are a pleasant car ride away. Regardless of when you are interested in visiting Home on the Range, you will always find interesting, educational and fun things to do in between relaxing. During the winter, a four wheel drive vehicle is preferred - especially if you plan on skiing, snowmobiling or ice fishing. Cows, horses, llamas, donkeys and buffalo together with the Mountains and Lake make this area particularly enviting. Experience a powwow, rodeo and more at Home on the Range.
