Walk the country lanes to the Tall Timbers Marina for dinner or music,
or access to the private beach. There is a pier for fishing and
crabbing; a landing to launch your boat; slips are usually available.
If you are new to the area St. Mary's County one of the first British
settlements in America and is filled with Museums and Historical Sites
such as Historic St. Mary’s City with the replica of the 1633 “Dove”
at dock.
Other attractions include Cecil's Old Mill, Little Red Schoolhouse,
Drayden Afro-American School House, the Piney Point Light House,
Patuxent River Naval Air Museum, and the Point Lookout State Park and
the Civil War Museum. The Sotterley Plantation or Saint Clement's
Island-Potomac River Museum are also worth the trip.
Fishing is Fabulous in the creeks around Tall Timbers. Charter trips
are available locally for the more serious fisherman.

Viewing, Horseback Riding, Sightseeing, Swimming, Boating, Sailing,
and Windsurfing; and last but not least, Maryland’s first underwater
park, the German U-Boat.
This area is truly one of Maryland’sbest-kept secrets.
