Cedars Cottage Resort is a family oriented, housekeeping cottage 
resort located on the shores of beautiful Lake Eugenia, at the south 
entrance to the picturesque Beaver Valley. We offer the 
acommodations and services you'd expect from a tranquil, lakeside 
cottage resort.

Cedars modern lakeside chalets are designed for comfort and 
relaxation no matter what season of the year.  The 3 bedroom chalets 
will sleep up to 8 guests.  Each chalet features a separate fully 
equipped  kitchen with fridge, range, microwave, toaster, coffee 
maker. The living/dining room area overlooking the lake is furnished 
with comfort in mind ­ complete with CCTV, ceiling fan,  and a 
fireplace for atmosphere, all units have electric baseboard heating. 
The chalets also includes air-conditioning, four piece bath with a 
whirlpool tub, in-floor heating.  All bedding is provided.

Cedars traditional style two bedroom cottages offer many of the 
features and all of the comfort of our chalets. Cottages typically 
sleep four to six guests and are perfect for couples or families. 
You will find complete kitchen facilities, including a microwave. 
All have colour cable TV, fireplaces, electric baseboard heating, 
plus a three piece bath with shower. All bedding is provided

For something a little different our century farm house is great for 
large families or groups it will sleep up to 12 guests. It is fully 
equipped with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, the sitting room has a pull 
out sofa bed,and a second TV. The farm house has been completely 
upgraded, all new furniture and appliances in Dec. 2005, but it 
retains its original country charm including a large kitchen with a 
harvest table that seats all 12 guests. Central air conditioning was 
added in 2007.


Baby equipment is available at no extra charge, please let us know 
what you need when you make your reservation.

There is no need to bring bottled water. Our water is treated on 
site and tested monthly by an Ontario Ministry of Health accredited 
laboratory.

Each unit at Cedars has it's own deck, lawn chairs, picnic tables 
and fire pit, propane BBQ's are supplied during the summer season 
(May long weekend to Thanksgiving.) For the remainder of the year, 
firewood is provided free of charge.

There are peddle-boats for the kids and canoes for those who enjoy a 
quiet few hours on the water at no charge to guests! Life jackets 
and water safety kits are included. Lake Eugenia is well known for 
fishing, especially if you enjoy bass, perch or trout. Motor boats 
are available for rent next door. If you don't fish, 
you may just want to take a little cruise around the lake.

Children love to play on our shallow, sandy beach. Meet at the 
outdoor heated swimming pool. We also have a games room with pool 
table, shuffleboard and table tennis. 

We are located on the shores of Lake Eugenia, with our own private 
sandy beach. Cedars has 40 acres of beautiful nature for you to 
enjoy. Wander through the fields, down to the end of the lake which 
has been preserved in its natural state. There you may see the deer, 
beavers, herons, loons, wild turkeys and other wildlife. 

In the winter bring your own cross country skis, or snowshoes and 
blaze your own trail. Bring your skates, we also have our own 
skating rink (weather permitting).

Cedars is only minutes from the Bruce Trail, Canada's oldest and 
longest marked trail. The Beaver Valley is a great place to start on 
the trail. Enjoy the incredible view from on top of Old Baldy. There 
are several hikes available from this area. 

Cedars has several golf courses within a short distance and the back 
roads are great for cycling. For the alpine skiers we are close to 
some of Ontario's most popular ski slopes, Talisman, Beaver Valley, 
Blue Mountain. For those who enjoy cross country skiing we are a 15 
minute drive from Kolapore Uplands Wilderness Area. 

The scenery is incredible, there are 7 waterfalls in Grey County, 
look out over Beaver Valley from the top of Old Baldy Mountain, 
explore the Feversham Gorge. Visit the Scenic Caves near Collingwood.

Cedars makes a good home base for sight seeing, we are only 2 hours 
from downtown Toronto and everything it has to offer. Visit Niagara 
Falls one of the great wonders of the world, only 2 1/2 hours away.
Or just stay on the beach and relax.

2 bedroom cottage, sleeps 4 - $735.00 per week
2 bedroom cottage, sleeps 6 - $910.00 per week
Cedars Edge Farm, sleeps 12 -$1,715 per week


Off Season
3 bedroom chalet, with up to 6 - $195.00 per night, add $15.00 for 
each additional person, sleeps 8 
2 bedroom cottage, sleeps 4 - $115.00 per night
2 bedroom cottage, sleeps 6 - $140.00 per night, 
Cedars Edge Farm, with up to 6 - $225.00 per night, add $15.00 per 
additional person, sleeps 12

Contact us for long week-end and holiday rates. Seasonal rentals 
available.

A 50% deposit is required for a 2 night stay and a deposit of 35% is 
required for longer stays.

For cancellations more than 30 days before your arrival date your 
deposit is refundable less $50.00. For cancellations 30 days or less 
before your arrival date your deposit is non refundable.
