This is a traditional Sea Ranch home on the hillside overlooking the
beautiful coast and Pacific Ocean. The hillside location lends to
better weather, especially in the summer, where there is less wind and
fog. Highway One is to the west below a hill, where it is both out of
sight and earshot from our home. 

Deer, wild turkeys, foxes, rabbits and many species of birds visit
regularly. A number of trails to the bluff and into the redwood forest
are nearby. The recreation center with a heated pool, tennis,
volleyball, basketball, and sauna is next to the white barn, and is
only a five-minute walk.

This is a No Smoking, No Pet home. It has three bedrooms (king, queen,
and a double), two full baths, a fully-equipped kitchen, an outdoor
hot tub, sheltered private deck, private flower garden, Jacuzzi
whirlpool bathtub, steam shower, heated tile floor, washer and dryer,
dishwasher, microwave, satellite TV, CD, VCR, DVD, briquette barbecue,
etc. Bed linens (sheets & pillow cases)and towels are provided for an
additional rental fee of $20 per bed per stay, or you may bring your 
own. 

You are welcome to use the supplies you find in our house, but please
replace what you use (other than the firewood). Gualala, with good
restaurants, groceries, art galleries, and boutiques is eight minutes
up Highway One. Our house manual has a number of suggestions
concerning restaurants, attractions, and services. More information

The Sea Ranch offers many things to do. Three recreation centers offer
swimming, tennis, and sauna facilities, one has a basketball court and
a sand volleyball court. There are miles of well marked trails for
hiking or bicycling. A trail map is in our home for your use. There
are a number of beaches and tide pooling spots to explore. 

Sea Ranch has a children's playground area that includes swings,
slides, picnic tables, and more. The Gualala River beach provides an
alternative destination for picnicking and swimming. Sea Ranch also
has an 18 hole, Scottish-style golf course available to you on a fee
basis. We provide a list of suggestions of things to do with your
rental information.

Our rental rate is $175 per night, with the seventh night free, plus a
$200 refundable security deposit and non-refundable $50 check in & out
fee. There is also a mid-week three nights for the price of two
special November thru March, excluding holiday periods. Two nights is
the minimum for non-holidays, and the holiday periods vary. The
