with a DVD and VCR. The loft has its own TV and VCR plus your master 
bedroom has a TV with VCR. We're right off the Mountain Road - on 
the seasonal bus route to skiing, walking distance to our own 
swimming pool and tennis courts. Golf and restaurants are a short 
distance away. Hiking and biking are right outside your front door.

The rolling, pastoral countryside of the Mad River Valley is pure in 
its Vermont roots -- dotted with cows, barns, covered bridges, and 
white steepled churches.  While its legendary skiing attracts winter 
sports enthusiasts, unlike many other ski resorts the area is 
surprisingly free of crowds and traffic.  Its pristine countryside 
makes it a wonderful destination throughout the year for bikers, 
walkers, golfers, riders, and everyone who after their first visit 
falls in love with its fresh air and natural beauty.

The Valley is also home to tight-knit and vibrant communities.  
Throughout the year a plethora of cultural activities, arts 
festivals, and events ranging from the Mad River Duck Race to the 
famous 4th of July parade display the area's creative spirit and 
sense of humor, as unique as the backwards-flowing "Mad" River that 
runs through it.
