 Fully equipped home with fireplace in living/dining area, deck
overlooking beautiful, quiet mountain lake. Newark Pond is
approximately 3/4 mile long by 1/2 mile wide and offers great
swimming, boating, fishing and loon watching. One shore of the lake is
Nature Conservancy Land with hiking trails. The area is surrounded by
dirt roads for bicyling and evening walks. The area is mostly summer
cottages with a few full time residents. In winter, skiing is close by
at Burke Mountain. In the fall, great foliage and antiquing. Wood is
provided for romantic evening fires. The home is constantly being
updated. A kid friendly raft was added for the summer of 2005. Beach
chairs and picnic table are also provided. The kitchen has everything
you will need along with some basic supplies. The breezeway provides
an extra room for dining or playing cards and the garage is available
for storage. 

Fully equipped kitchen, microwave, coffee pot, gas stove, dishes,
utensils, pot, pans, toasters.  Two TV's, VCRs, video library,DVD
player, stereo, CD player.  Aluminum rowboat, fiberglass canoe, some
life vests are provided.  Deck with patio furniture, gas & charcoal
grills, dock, raft.

Located in the Northeast Kingdom, 6 miles from Lake Willoughby, 10
miles south of Island Pond.  Newark Pond offers boating, fishing,
swimming.  It's a great area for mountain biking, hiking and relaxing.
     Near ski areas and VAST trails.

July & August rates = $800 per week, Sat to Sat.
September through June = $600 per week
Weekends, 2 or 3 nights = $350 when available
rates do not include a 9% Vermont rooms tax

Deposit of $200 required when booked, full payment due 2 weeks in
advance, security deposit of $200 required.  The deposit may be
refunded if the booked period of time is re-rented.
