from trout stocked waters and surrounded by creeks, streams, 
waterfalls, mountains and hundreds of acres of wooded preserve.  
Some of the best hiking and nature strolls are right outside your 
door... waterfalls await in either direction!  You are surrounded by 
sounds of water, wind and birdsong... yet you're only 10 to 20 
minutes from dining, activities and shopping.

Whether using the house as a base for sightseeing, golfing, mountain 
activities,  shopping in downtown Asheville, or just a place to get 
away from the noise and hustle of urban life, Blackberry Cottage is 
a charming and enchanting alternative to hotels... a perfect place 
to stay while in town looking for property. 

As you enter the cottage you’ll sense the love and care I’ve put into 
making it a wonderfully cozy, joyful retreat for myself and my 
guests. From the warm tan walls, to the inviting hardwood floors and 
comfy furnishings, you’ll find lots of reasons to feel welcome here. 
             
Relax with satellite TV and VCR/DVD player with a simple remote... 
you’ll find a collection of videos and DVDs for your entertainment. 
Or you may decide to just kick back and enjoy music from the varied 
selection of CDs. A gas log stove and quiet Hunter ceiling fan 
enhance your comfort and enjoyment!

Enjoy morning coffee or a quick lunch, at the convenient breakfast 
bar, before exploring the Parkway or heading downtown for a day of 
shopping. The bright, cheery kitchen comes fully stocked including 
paper products, pots & pans, dishes, utensils, wine & champagne 
glasses and a good corkscrew, frosty mugs in the freezer, a 
selection of spices, basic condiments, herbal teas, coffee maker & 
filters, a toaster, microwave, local phone service & answering 
machine, charcoal & supplies for the grill.
 
A carport off the kitchen provides shade for your car on a warm 
summer day... or a place to barbeque during a spring shower... all 
the conveniences of home!

The large sunny bedroom, with a romantic atmosphere, features a 
spacious closet, vanity table with lighted make-up mirror, a quiet 
Hunter ceiling fan, soft lamp lighting and a comfy chair with a 
footstool for reading or relaxing. Should you decide to set an alarm 
clock, there's one of those too! 
 
Slumber in the plush comfort of your Simmons Beautyrest KING size 
bed. Luxurious 400 thread count cotton sheets, a selection of 
pillows (soft, firm and contour memory foam) as well as feather soft

Asheville's lively downtown has great architecture, interesting 
museums, many locally owned stores... including antique shops, art 
galleries, restaurants... lots with outside dining, coffee shops and 
a dozen or so nightspots featuring live music, dancing and 
entertainment.  There are numerous festivals and events downtown.  
Be sure to visit Grove Arcade for fine art, fresh food, crafts and 
more.  
 
A creative way to explore downtown is the Urban Trail, a self-guided 
walking tour of 30 sculptures that depict  local history.  Guided 
tours are every Saturday, beginning at Pack Place.  You can go to 
Pack Place to rent audio headsets.  It's a facsinating way to see 
the wonderful architecture, including lots of art deco from the late 
1920s  to early 1930s.  You'll be certain to enjoy lots of 
interesting finds in a number of unique, quaint shops!

 $120 per night
 $700 per week (based on a 6 night stay)
 
Additional charges:
  7% NC tax
$50 one-time cleaning fee
$200 security deposit (fully refundable, with no damages)

Cancellation Policy:
A cancellation at any time will be assessed a $200 cancellation fee. 
For reservations more than one week,there will be a $200 
cancellation fee per each week booked. If reservations are canceled 
less than 60 days prior to arrival, your rental charges collected 
will not be refunded unless we are able to fill the reserved time. 
All guests are financially responsible for the time reserved.

 Check-In 4:00 P.M.  Check-out 11:00 A.M. 

Pet/Smoking Policies: 
 This is a NO PET, NO inside SMOKING rental (no exceptions, please!)
 
 

Intersted in home exchange... open to all areas... simultaneous 
exchange not required... have no pets and my rental has a no pet 
policy and outside smoking only.
