Perched on the rim of the lush green Kilauea River Valley, with 
breathtaking panoramic views of Kilauea Falls and the surrounding 
mountains.  This waterfall is up close and personal, and can be 
enjoyed from the living room, bedroom, and spacious covered lanai.  
Imagine relaxing on the lanai with a cup of coffee or tea in the 
morning, book in the afternoon, or a cocktail in the evening, while 
you gaze at the stunning mountain and waterfall vistas.

Bright and airy, comfortably furnished with stylish, simple décor 
that feels like home.  The living room has an overstuffed couch and 
a full entertainment center, with cable TV, VCR, CD/Cassette Stereo, 
and lots of books.  The bedroom features a queen-sized bed, the 
kitchen is fully equipped, there is one bathroom with shower, bamboo 
floors throughout, and an outdoor shower.

This cozy nest is located in Kilauea on the magnificent North Shore 
of Kauai.  Kilauea is a former sugar cane town that still retains a 
rural, small town charm.  You'll feel right at home with the 
friendly neighborhood atmosphere.  Within walking distance of a 
restaurant, bakery/pizza shop, gift, jewelry and clothing shops, a 
candle and soap factory, post office, three small markets, and two 
farmer's markets each week.  A five minute drive takes you to an 
uncrowded beach (Anini, Kalihiwai, Rock Quarry, or Secret), the 
historic Kilauea Lighthouse, scenic Kilauea Point National Wildlife 
Refuge, Guava Kai Plantation (the world's largest guava plantation), 
or Princeville Ranch (a working cattle ranch and home to the North 
Shore's most exciting outdoor eco-adventure tours such as ziplining, 
kayaking, hiking and horseback riding).  A few minutes further north 
is Princeville Resort - where restaurants with amazing sunset views 
of Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai, and world-class golfing can be found; 
and then on to Hanalei and the famed Na Pali coast.

Rates:
  $795/week (7 nights)*
  
  For stays of more than one week, additional days will be pro-rated 
  at the weekly rate.
  
  For stays of less than one week, the daily rate is $160.  Minimum 
  booking is 3 nights, except between established bookings.*
  
  Out cleaning fee is $125
  
  All charges are subject to Hawaii General Excise and Transient 
  Accommodations taxes totaling 11.4166%.
  
  *During the holiday period from December 15th through January 5th, 
  the minimum booking is one week, and the rate is $1,025/week.


Reservation and Security Deposit:
  To confirm your reservation, a security deposit of $300 and the 
  signed rental agreement are due within ten days of making your 
  reservation.  The deposit, which is separate from the rent, will
  be mailed back to you, less any loss or damage to the home or
  contents, approximately two weeks after your departure.


Rental/Out cleaning Fee/Taxes:
  The full amount of the rental, along with the out cleaning fee and 
  taxes are due 60 days prior to your arrival.  (If reservation is 
  made within 60 days of arrival date, the full amount of rental/out 
  cleaning fee/taxes is due with the security deposit and signed 
  rental agreement.)


Cancellation Policy:
  All cancellations must be submitted in writing.  Refunds will be 
  made based on the amount of days the notice is submitted prior to 
  the rental period, as follows:
    • 90+ days written notice - The deposit, less a $75 processing
      fee, will be refunded.
    • 60-89 days written notice – The entire deposit will be
      forfeited.
    • Less than 60 days written notice – The rent and taxes will be 
      forfeited unless the accommodation can be re-rented.
