Above Pristine Hideaways Beach... a 3 minute stroll
This well-kept secret is located right above Hideaways Beach in 
Princeville. Just walk down the path and you will be on pristine white 
sand with that deep azure ocean in 3 minutes. While you walk you will 
have to stop to gaze at the celebrated “Bali Hai” view first. Known as 
“Makana” to Hawaiians, this stunning mountain configuration was 
captured in the original “South Pacific” and is one of Kauai’s 
landmarks. Hideaways Beach is a true “hideaway” spot, always quiet. 
Snorkel, swim or just laze in the sun or under the palm trees and 
perhaps watch the world class surfers catching the waves.

There is a spacious swimming pool on site where you can relax, have a 
drink, read, or fall asleep. Sabella’s Italian restaurant is a superb 
eating establishment – right here in the grounds of Pali Ke Kua. The 
owners of Sabella’s in San Francisco fell in love with Kauai - and 
Pali Ke Kua – so they bought a place at Pali Ke Kua and then opened 
the restaurant. We’re so glad they did!

Walk to World class Princeville Resort Hotel…..for drinks on the lanai 
while you watch the sun set over Bali Hai. Or dinner perhaps? The 
Princeville Hotel has 2 gourmet restaurants and a wonderful bar &

beauty shop there and Tennis courts at the Hanalei Bay Resort.

Na Pali Coast & gorgeous North Shore beaches...
Drink in the peace & serenity of Kauai’s emerald mountains, the 
beginning of the fabled Na Pali coast. You can see the start of the Na 
Pali Coast from the tropical grounds here. 
There’s almost nothing to compare to the majestic 3000 foot emerald 
cliffs of the Na Pali Coast….especially when some of those waterfalls 
are cascading down either into the verdant green of the valleys or the 
azure blue of the water. You can be at Hanalei Pier in 5 minutes ready 
to take a boat trip of the Na Pali or at the Princeville airport, 
ready for a Helicopter ride, either of which will show you the Na Pali 
in detail.
