Women's Residence for women travelers to or through Chicago. 
Affordable $45/$55 per nite. You get your own bedroom and share the 
rest of the space with other women who are traveling through or to 
Chicago. Established in 1981, women's residence has been in Chicago 
for 16 years. Sometimes women moving to Chicago rent here until they 
find a job and new apt. Monthly rent is $550.00/mo. Manager can show 
you how to get around on easy public transit just 2 blocks away.
Security is one month rent and due in advance of stay. Women have 
key and come & go as they like. No visitors on 2nd floor. Can meet 
friends in first floor gallery.

Everything you might need is here. The pink flamingo theme bathroom 
has soaps and lotions,linens for you to use. The Frida Kahlo Kitchen 
has coffee, tea, coffee maker, and dishes and everything needed to 
cook. We are just blocks from a major grocery store. From the deck 
off the kitch one can see tyhe train stop that goes right tot he 
loop, heart of downtown. It's 10 minutes! You are in a residentials 
historic neighborhood just blocks from several major streets.
There is a large yard with many interesting things happening in it.
On first floor there is a small art gallery and on the basement 
level there is an art studio. Clases & workshops are available.

It is so easy to go downtown from here, tot he United Center, tot he 
Illinois building or the SEARS tower! All of downtown Chicago is 
your oyster and it's affordable here. Experience real life in 
Chicago and see all the sites. You can catch a free sightseeing bus 
that goes around the Loop (downtown Chicago). You can go to Navy 
Pier with it's many attractions. Chicago is known for it's various 
neighborhoods- China Town, Pilsen, Andersonville, Pulman, the Gold 
Coast, etc. You can easily get to all those places from here! Go to 
a concert or to the theatre and stay here.

One woman one night is $45.
Two women one night is $55.
Once you pay for your room with check or money order, the room is 
booked. No refunds but can have credit toward another visit.
