Laurel Ridge Cabins is located just south of Summersville near 
Summersville Lake.  We maintain a Christian family environment and 
live onsite.  We have 6 cabins, each decorated in a different theme, 
on 15 wooded acres.  Each cabin has 2 bedrooms, a living area, a full 
kitchen, one bath, and a deck with a gas grill.  We do offer some 
cabins with a 5 person hot tub on a private deck.  Each cabin is 
fully furnished.  Linens, towels, dishes, utensils, and cookware are 
provided.  The cabins have TV's with VCR/DVD.  We have a selection of 
movies for our guests.  The cabins are heated and air conditioned.  
We are pet friendly, but do ask that you call us regarding our pet 
policies.

The cabins are located within the treelined edge of a 4 acre 
recreation field.  The field has volleyball, horseshoes, a butterfly 
and hummingbird garden, a fire ring, and a huge new playground.  In 
the winter, the field is a great place for building a snowman or 
sledding.  We also have our own private hiking trail and are adjacent 
to over 150 acres of hikable land. Each cabin has a deck with a gas 
grill.  We offer specialty items such as breakfast, candlelight 
picnics, desserts, and flowers. 

We are only minutes from either boat ramp and the beach of 
Summersville Lake.  We are only a few minutes from the put-in of the 
Gauley River.  There are dozens of rafting companies within 12 miles 
of the cabins.  We are 14 minutes north of the New River Gorge Bridge 
(don't miss Bridge Day in October).  Winterplace Ski Resort is 45 
minutes south.  Hawks Nest State Park is 15 minutes away and Babcock 
State Park is about 20-25 minutes.  There are several places in the 
area for horseback riding, rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, 
fishing, and hunting.  This is also a great place to find gospel 
music (West Virginia State Gospel Sing in July....Music in the 
Mountains in June).

May - October Regular Cabins are $95 per night and $499 per week for 
2 adults.  Hot tub cabins are $125 per night Sun - Thurs, $150 per 
night Fri - Sat, and $650 weekly for 2 adults.  A child 12 and under 
stays free with each paid adult.  Extra adults are $10 per night.

November - April Regular Cabins are $75 per night and $399 per week 
for 2 adults.  Hot tub cabins are $100 per night Sun - Thurs, $125 
per night Fri - Sat, and $550 weekly.

We are a family of 6 and love to travel.  If you own rentals, we 
might be willing to exchange with a comparable property.  The 
exchange would not need to be simultaneous.  We are interested mainly 
in areas in the Eastern United States, though we would consider other 
US locations.
