Whispering Pines is located in a quiet area of Indian Lake, New 
York. We are open year round. Hiking trails are within walking 
distance from the cabin. Gore Mountain and The Adirondack Museum are 
approximately 20 minutes away.  Plenty of swimming, golfing, hiking, 
white water rafting, skiing, cross country skiing, snow mobile 
trails.  Less then 10 minutes to Indian Lake, Lake Abanakee and 
Adirondack Lake – great for swimming, boats, canoes and kayaks, 
fishing and ice fishing or just sitting on the shore and watch the 
sunset. There is a movie theater in town which is open during the 
summer months.   

Whispering Pines has 3 bedrooms (2 with a double bed and 1 with a 
single bed).  There is also a pull out couch in the living room. No 
smoking or pets allowed. There is a porch with rockers and plenty of 
seating to enjoy the fresh air. 

We do not supply linens but there are quilts, pillows and blankets.  
There is a TV (Direct TV), a fireplace.  There is also a gas stove in 
the dining room.  The kitchen is fully equiped -refrigerator/freezer, 
microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher. No washer or dryer. There is 
no toaster. No pets or smoking allowed.

There is a porch with rockers and seating.  A picnic area has a gas 
grill, chairs and a picnic table. 

There is usually something going on in Indian Lake - the town garage 
sale Memorial Day-  Fourth of July fireworks, antique shows. Gore 
Mountain and North Creek are 20 minutes away - great for skiing and 
tubing.  The Adirondack Museum is 20 minutes away.  Lake George with 
the Great Escape and outlet shopping is 45 minutes.  

Our rates are $125.00 per night - minimum 2 night stay September to 
May and 3 night stay June, July and August or $850.00 per week.
