Description
|

This cozy cabin, just five years old, borders Payette National Forest
all which runs all the way to the Snake River. The Rapid River
Wilderness area is smack in the middle of that. GREAT Hiking!
There are no roads between the cabin and the Snake. No motor
vehicles allowed.
There is an awesome 180 degree pristine view that goes for miles
with nothing visible but mountains and sky, beautiful.
The road in is gated four miles below the cabin which sits at
5000 ft elevation. Very very private. Great for a writer or just a
relaxing getaway for anyone.

Cabin has two queen size beds in loft, divided by a curtain and one
twin size bed below.
Kitchen has handpump at sink,a propane frig, propane four burner
stove and oven.
There is a steam sauna made of logs.
The barn and corral are available if you want to bring your
trail and pack animals.
There is a swing, and lots of room for the kids to run and play
safely. A great trail to the creek.
Board games, a NEW flat screen TV and DVD player (batteries
charged by the sun! Can also hook up your laptop to it, but internet
service is iffy with your cell phone.

This is an awesome place for just about anything you want to do in
the mountains.
Hunting, Hiking, Fish Rapid River (a days hike away), Wildlife
study, Plant study, Writing,
Great place to bond with the family away from civilization,
There is a great creek the kids can play in, dig in, make a little
swimming pool when it is hot.
The night skies are beautiful, stars to die for.

Rates vary depending on size of party and number of animals.
Approx $800-1000 per week.
Minimum of $600 for four days, because the road in is gravel, and we
must make arrangements if you do not have a four wheel drive vehicle.
Deposit of half down and balance due before leaving.So sorry, we are
not set up to take credit cards. Deposit by personal check, balance
by cash.
