LOCATION

Papakea is located approximately thirty miles from the Kahului 
Airport on the west coast of Maui.  This beautiful resort is nestled 
on the ocean’s edge, just a few minutes up the coast from world-
famous Ka'anapali Beach and the historic whaling village of Lahaina.

GENERAL	

With its original Hawaiian atmosphere, Papakea is comfortable, 
friendly, and unforgettable.  This paradise is ideal for family 
vacations, couples traveling together, or romantic escapes.  There 
are a total of 364 units spread among 11 low-rise buildings 
surrounded by a vast, garden-style landscape.

LANDSCAPE

Rooted on 13-acres of tranquil freshwater lagoons and bridges, 
Papakea’s landscape is woven together with a beautiful tropical 
array of expansive lawns and colorful flowers.  Throughout the 
resort you’ll find beautiful tropical gardens dotted with lily 
ponds, palm trees and other tropical plants.  Gentle trade winds 
waft through the bamboo-lined walkways between buildings.  Coconut 
palms frame your view of spectacular sunsets over the beautiful 
Pacific Ocean and the nearby islands of Molokai and Lanai.  The 
sounds of the gentle surf and rustling palms will lull you to sleep 
every night.  It is the perfect setting for doing everything or 
nothing at all.

CONDOS

A wide selection of tastefully appointed condominiums provide all of 
the comforts of home.  Each condo is finished and furnished with 
quality.  You won’t find anything you need missing in the kitchen.

All of the Condominiums are well stocked with all accommodations and

   Bask by the ocean or take your pick of two sparkling pools, each

In addition, enjoy two 18-hole putting greens, three lit tennis 
courts and two oceanfront shuffleboard courts.  A recreation room 
also provides indoor activities. 

Activities

   On-site weekly guest activities include island orientations, 
putting tournaments, tennis round robins, as well as classes on 
swimming, snorkeling, pineapple cutting and more.  Enjoy the 
recreation of the three lit tennis courts, ocean-front 
shuffleboards, as well as two pools, each with a private spa, sauna, 
cabana and barbecue area.  Also, the great oceanfront lawn is 
perfect for sunbathing and watching the whales surface.  

   Off site, you will enjoy sightseeing, shopping and dining at 
Lahaina, Whaler's Village and Kapalua.  Off-site activates include 
golf at Kaanapali and Kapalua, surfing and windsurfing, snorkeling, 
scuba, whale watching and other water activities at nearby sandy 
beaches.
