Welcome to Central House on Mount Desert Island, Maine. We are
centrally located in Southwest Harbor on the Clark Point road in a
1894 house recently remodeled and updated. Five minutes away is Acadia
National Park and only 15 miles across MDI from Bar Harbor, Me. Before
electricity, Central House provided lodging for a number of years
offering accommodations to the early travelers. .

The entire house can also be rented by the week or month for the
perfect family retreat. I recently completed a 3rd floor loft that can
be rented for an additional $500/wk with house rental. The 800 sq ft
loft sleeps 3. Each bedroom has a queen pillow top bed, hidden cable
TV/DVD player, gas fireplace, ceiling fan and cable internet access at
built in desk. A private tiled bathroom with custom showers and 3
shower heads are part of each bedroom. One bedroom also has a
whirlpool tub. Besides the 3 queen beds we have 2 roller way beds.

The kitchen is a semi commercial setup

Acadia National Park is only 2 miles from the House

For the main 3 bedroom home.
$1,750/week May - June 18 , $6,000 month
$2,250/week June 18- July 29, $ $7,500 month
$2,500/week July 29 - August , $10,000 month
$2,250/week September, $5,500 month
$2,000/week October, 1-15th $ 5,000 month
$ 850/week October 16-May 15  2,400 month

One dog allowed with $500 deposit
The 3rd floor loft apartment can be added for an additional $500/week
