renovated 1800's boat shop sleeps up to nine, thanks to its sleep
sofas. Spacious deck and cozy sun porch overlook a breezy, bustling,
beautiful harbor. Offers easy harbor access for boaters or sightseers
and something for everyone! Visit area lighthouses and art galleries,
and enjoy cruises, Windjammer races, ferry rides to the islands, our
renowned Blues and Lobster festivals, country fairs, historic sites
and tours, abundant live music and theater of all genres, air and boat
shows, and summer and winter sports. Or just cook up some lobsters at
home or walk to the full-service Harbor View Restaurant down the hill!

This charming bungalow was originally an authentic coastal boat shop,
constructed in the 1800’s for building and repairing fishing boats and
other small craft and located on the breezy, bustling harbor of a
friendly, residential community that was originally established in the
1600’s. The interior of the building was lovingly remodeled in the
1990’s to enlarge and modernize its living area without sacrificing
its original nautical heritage. The house currently features a large,
fully equipped kitchen and fenced side yard for young children and
pets, as well as an owner who is only 15 minutes away in the event
that any assistance is needed. Additional amenities--including bikes,
DVD player, VCR and a variety of tapes--can be provided upon request.
Housekeeping and occasional private chef services available for

This property uniquely offers both privacy/relaxation and access to
enjoyable/stimulating activities--the best of both worlds, as you
please! As our guest, you can choose to relax here at home, dine
leisurely on the deck, and then watch late-night TV, or you could
choose to enjoy a day of local activities, followed by an evening 'out
on the town' in Rockland or Camden--or even plan an overnight trip to
one of midcoast Maine's exquisite islands or peninsulas. There are so
many fun things for everyone to do here, all year long, from enjoying
a sumptuous, traditional breakfast at the Thomaston Cafe to traveling
10 miles to the Camden Opera House to hear a concert provided by
