Just a short bus ride from our home is the Capilano Suspension 
Bridge. The bridge was originally built in 1889, and is 450 feet 
across and 230 feet above Capilano River and is, without a doubt, 
the world's greatest suspension footbridge!

Of course, a visit to North Vancouver would not be complete without 
a gondola ride up to Grouse Mountain. During the summer enjoy 
helicopter rides, Lumberjack shows, hike the Grouse Grind and much 
more. Winter time means skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and sleigh 
riding.

Need a change of scenery? Try Mount Seymour or Cypress Mountain for 
more ski runs and snow fun. Take a bus trip to Downtown over the 
Lions' Gate Bridge and visit Gastown (the original Vancouver), 
Chinatown, Granville Island and Robson Street where designer 
boutiques abound and you may just see a movie star shopping there! 
Don't forget about Stanley Park. Rent a bicycle and go around the 10 
km sea wall, explore the gardens, see the Totem Poles, visit the 
Aquarium or just relax on one of the beaches ....
