This private residence is new in 2006.  The master bedroom suite is 
separated from the other bedrooms by a large living room with 32" TV
and fireplace where you can totally relax after an active day if you
chose to participate in the many physical activities available.  The 
kitchen has plenty of room for more than one to help cook and has a 
center island for plenty of counter space.  There is a separate 
dining room.  The view from the kitchen sink is of trees and there 
is a deck where everyone can gather to breathe in the fresh mountain 
air.  Or, you can sit on the front porch and rock while you watch 
the silly golfers chase that little white ball around.   The master 
bedroom suite has both a soaker tub and step in shower.   The second 
bedroom has a pair of twin beds.   The bonus room has a desk and 
some games and a queen size airbed for extra guests.    Home is 
completely set up with linens, towels, dishes, kitchenware, etc.  
There is also a separate back entry into the laundry area complete 
with washer+dryer.  This home is just waiting in the little woods.

Lake Tansi resort has become a year round home to many local 
families and to retirees.  The community revolves around the 18-hole 
Par 72 golf course with softly rolling hills.  Private roads lead 
you to the community centers, the private beach, an indoor pool, an 
outdoor pool and the lakes.  The largest Lake, Tansi, has boat 
rentals available Area is famous for good fishing, too!   There are 
several state parks that are nearby with water falls, hiking, nature 
study, and just plain beautiful, gorgeous, life-enriching views.  
Horseback riding and water-rafting are available off-site just a 
short drive to enjoy.  

The Cumberland Plateau and the City of Crossville is right in the 
center of Tennessee.  Chattanooga to the south boasts many sights to 
see, not the least of which is the Choo-Choo.  And of course, 
Nashville is only 90 minutes away with all the Country legends and 
history.  Knoxville [which is also the closest major airport] is 
only about 45 minutes away.  Also, DollyWood, Pigeon Forge,  
Sevierville and Gatlinburg all are only about a 60 minute drive.  
You can spend your time just visiting all there is to do from 
this great home base.   And yet, part of the desire of this location 
is the fact that it is slower paced and small town and so close to 
nature that you do not have to go anywhere at all--just sit on the 
front porch and let the rest of the world rush by.  Whatever your 
choice, it can be found here.  Cumberland State Park is only 15 
minutes away. Fall Creek Falls State Park claims to have the highest 
waterfall east of the Rockies!  You can truly get a fresh 
perspective on life by a liesurely visit to a State Park.   Come and 
relax or be busy, but enjoy! 

Home is available year round.  Not much snowfall on the plateau.
Temperatures are more moderate than the higher mounains of 
Gatlinburg.   Rate is $395 per week plus $50 end of stay cleaning 
fee.   Refundable $500 damage deposit.  Maximum of six persons.
