This 1920's beach cottage was renovated in 2004 to the highest
standards. Wood floors, granite counters, french doors, updated
appliances and high-tech electronics make this an absolute steal.
It is just 90 steps to walk-on easy beach access, no dunes or stairs.
Beachstumps Cottage is within a block or two of a dozen
restaurants, galleries, county Museum, Glass Foundry (new) bookstores,
antiques and specialty shops.
The best (and only) place to crab in town is at the 51st Street beach,
either from the pier or the shore. A license is required if you are
over 13. Guests seem to be very lucky when it comes to crabbing here.
There is also a 67-store factory outlet in town, along with the
Chinook Winds Casino. The free shuttle to and from it is just across
the street.
The cottage is charming, warm and close to everything. We are also the
least expensive around :-)
