"Roadrunner Retreat" is located in the artist's hamlet and
international birding destination of Patagonia. Patagonia along with
Sonoita and Elgin ae referred to as the "Mountain Empire" and are
located in the southern Arizona's "sky islands" just 50 miles south
of Tucson. This region is noted for its scenery, year round
comfortable climate, open spaces and eclectic culture.
"Roadrunner" s truly a special place with striking territorial views
of the Patagonia and Coronado Mountains and a perfect southwestern
view of "Red Mountain" which provides enchanting sunrises and
glorious sunsets from the patio. This spacious 2000 square foot
brick adobe home is idea for escaping the summer heat or winter
cold.

"Roadrunner" is a spacious 2000 square foot home which is tastefully
furnished and decorated in a comfortable casual southwestern style.
It has beautiful red tile floors throughout the house.
The Retreat has a very large master bedroom with queen size bed, walk
in closet, a large bath with jacuzzi tub and a view of the courtyard
patio. The spacious second bedroom with a view of the private garden
also has a queen size bed, loads of closet space and immediate access
to a full bath. There are two additional queen sleeper sofas that
are separated in two different rooms for privacy.
The Arizona Room (family room) is great for a family gathering area
with ample seating for watching TV or movies or just admiring the
views of the surrounding mountains and gardens. The living room has
a fireplace to warm yourself by on cooler nights. The large dining
room has seating for eight and pleasant views and access to the
patio. The country kitchen is fully equippped with dishwasher,
microwave and service for eight. A comfortable courtyard patio area
has dining table, chairs and market umbrella and a hot tub. Gas
grill is provided.

Take a leisurely stroll to the heart of the town of Patagonia just a
few short blocks away and sample local food, visit art galleries,
bookstore, coffee shop or walk a little further to visit the Nature
Conservancy Wildlife Preserve that borders the twon to view over 300
species of birds.
Coronado National Forest and the surrounding area offers year-round
recreation opportunities for all ages and energy levels. In addition
to hiking and biking trails or wimming and boating on Lake Patagonia,
you can visit local wineries in Sonoita and Elgin or investigate
surrounding ghost towns. Birdwatchers, wildlife enthusiasts,
photographers, hikers and mountain climbers have hundreds of miles of
national forest and wilderness trials to explore.
Take an easy day trip to visit the "Legendary town of Tombstone" and
then meander through the Mule Mountains to Bisbee "Queen of the
Copper Camps" or visit Mexico from the Port of Entry in Nogales only
17 miles west of Patagonia.

This is a self-catering property.
All guests must be 21 or over unless accompanied by parent or
guardian.
A security deposit of $200 is required prior to occupancy. No credit
cards accepted. Payment may be made by personal check, traveler's
check, money order or wire transfer.
