few clothes, you can do your laundry here and keep the trip simple.

200 by 300 foot waterfront lot.  Very private, comfortable, and nice.

Harsen's Island is typically sunny and warm, consistently warmer and 
drier than Northern regions.  September is one of the best months to 
visit, warm sunny days and cool nights.  The swimming is great with a 
deepwater dock to dive into the clear blue waters of your private 
lagoon, or you can fish off it and catch bass, perch, pike, and 
walleye.

Catch a couple tubes and raft down the river for a few hours, the 
lagoon is quite a bit warmer, but this is really a great way to beat 
the heat.  Or go inside and turn on the central air conditioning.

Take the kids to the quaint little downtown for some penny candy and 
an ice cream-get a bite to eat in the waterfront restaurant and watch 
the freighters go by.

Get in a game of golf, work on your tan, and make your dinner plans.  
If you have a boat, pack a snack and go on an exploration of the 
worlds largest freshwater delta region-bring your camera and 
binoculars, to spot swans, egrets, herons, turtles, leaping fish, and 
all manner of wildlife that make this little piece of paradise one of 
the best kept secrets of Southeastern Michigan.

Weeks are rented from 5 pm on Fridays to noon the following Friday. 
All rates are for weeks falling completely in the noted month. 

July, August and the first week of September are $1500, June is $900, 
September's last three weeks are $1050.  October to December 15 are 
$800. December 15 to May 30 are $600.

Rates are for up to 6 people. Additional people are $100 each. 
Cleaning is another $100.00, you can self clean and save the fee only 
if there is no party renting directly after you, it is not 
recommended,as it takes two people five hours to clean.
 

Special weekday rental, Sunday night to Friday afternoon $750 in 
summertime.

Holiday weeks are extra, please inquire.

Sorry, summertime weekends are only available for the price of the
full week.

We are always open to creative proposals, let me know what you 
have.  While we have no previous exchange experience, it has been 
discussed.

Since this is a second home, non simultaneous exchanges are 
feasible. We do not smoke, no pets would travel with us. 

Our traveling family would be four-14 year old cheerleader, 19 year 
old college student,prosecutor and judge.

I would like to sell the house or the lot next door, as it is more 
than I need or want to take care of.  The house is 2200 square feet, 
four bedrooms, den, family room, two sleeping lofts, two new ceramic 
baths, new kitchen, new siding, new windows, newer roof and gutters, 
large deck, covered porch, 1.5 car garage, new concrete, 100 by 300 
lot, parking for a dozen cars.

Lot is 100 by 300, waterfront, needs dock, has access to deepwater 
lagoon out of the North Channel.
