A whimsical hand-built cottage overlooks an 18-hole disc golf 
course, setting  the tone for adventure and creativity. Abundant 
wildlife will visit you from 80 acres of forest; there is fishing in 
our large pond and nearby river, and hiking trails deep into state 
forest land. Down the country road is the Skamokawa National 
Historic District and 4,000 acres of national wildlife refuges in 
the Columbia River estuary to explore in kayaks or canoes–just as 
Lewis and Clark first saw it. A step back in time–no stop lights 
anywhere in Wahkiakum County!

All linens are supplied and weekly housekeeping is provided. The 
kitchen is fully stocked with the tools of good cooking, including 
an herb garden on the patio. For outdoor eating, there are table and 
chairs, sun umbrella and charcoal BBQ. Fully equipped laundry room, 
entrance to the wooded trails at the back door. Games, videos, CDs.  
The Inn at Lucky Mud is out of sight down the hill for "forgotten" 
items. 

Bring your fishing poles to catch the bass in the fish pond and the 
steelhead in Wilson Creek. We have discs to borrow (or new ones to 
sell) for the championship disc golf course that winds for 2.5 miles 
throughout the 40-acre homestead, including into the woods. Visit 
our unique rural county along the Columbia River estuary, which 
consists of thousands of acres of National Wildlife Refuges. 
Astoria, OR, is nearby, as is the Longbeach Peninsula. Mt. St. 
Helens, the Columbia River Gorge, and the Oregon Coast are great day 
trips.

Our rate of $150/day is for two people. Each additional person up to 
5 more is $10/day each. Weekly rate is $850. Other arrangements are 
possible. There is a two-day minimum. 

Half the total is required as a deposit with the remainder due upon 
checkout.
