would like to build up a few clients by opening as a rental 
property --at a normal lodge you can expect to pay between 2 and 5 
thousand dollars per week per person - Yikes! --at Grief you only 
pay $700 per week per person!!!---No other location can even compare 
to Grief Isand--come see for yourself! -- You will need to provide 
your own boat, guide (if you need one), food, as well as fishing and 
hunting gear.  I know many local charter operators as well as boat 
rental agencies -information regarding float plane charter as well 
as boat rental and guide service can be found on our website.  Or

can in making your trip to Grief as easy and enjoyable as possible!

The cabin is nothing fancy but it should be all you need if you're 
thinking about spending some time on a remote island in Southeast 
Alaska.  If you are looking for a luxorious resort type 
cabin....this is not the place for you.  But the Grief Island cabin 
is clean and very comfortable.  The cabin is estimated at 1100 sq 
ft - it should sleep between 5-7 guests comfortably.  It has a 
stove, fire place, sink, refrigerator, tv/vcr, 3 beds, as well as a 
bunk bed, couch,and a deck to sit and enjoy gorgeous sunsets.

Great King Salmon fishing during the spring and into early summer.  
Coho's begin to run in late July through mid-September.  Great crab, 
shrimp, and halibut fishing year round as well.  Harvey's lake is 
close by for day hikes and camping...along with the Salt Chuck, 
Castle Shores, Kasheets, Ohmer and Blind Slough.  All are great 
places for fishing, hiking, camping and hunting.  If you prefer 
hunting over fishing - Grief puts you right in the middle of great 
black tail deer, duck and grouse hunting in the fall and early 
winter.

50% Deposit Required to hold reservation.  Payment due in full- 10 
days prior to visit--or if already inside 10 days ASAP--  NO REFUNDS-
--However, if necessary we will happilly reschedule your stay with 
us to a later date- free of charge --as long as you reschedule no 
later than 10-days prior to your reservation or an additional fee of 
$100 will be required.
