Relax and unwind in our lovely vacation rental cabin near the 
Arkansas River in the Rocky Mountains of Central Colorado. Located 
just 12 miles east of Salida and 45 miles west of Canon City, in 
Bighorn Sheep Canyon.  Located in the "banana belt" of Central 
Colorado, we enjoy mild and dry weather year round relative to other 
areas of Colorado.

Our vacation cabin feels much like a cozy cottage and is designed 
for comfort and relaxation. We feature two bedrooms with queen beds, 
one full bath, living room, fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, 
fireplace, and two outdoor patios.

Our treed 1/2 acre lot is easily accessed just off of highway 50 but 
is buffered from the road by hills and trees. Views of the Sangre de 
Cristo Mountains, and Arkansas River Valley surround the cabin and 
can be seen from the windows, patio and yard. The Arkansas River is 
just steps away. 

During your summer vacation, enjoy hiking, kayaking, or whitewater 
river rafting with outfitters in Cotopaxi, just 10 miles east. World 
class fly fishing is available in the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation 
Areas all along the 50+ miles of Highway 50 from Salida to the Royal 
Gorge.

During your winter vacation, take advantage of our off season rates 
while skiing and snowmobiling at Monarch Ski Area just 37 miles west 
on Highway 50. Or relax in the natural mineral waters at one of the 
six area hot springs.

Whether you enjoy fly fishing, white water rafting or just relaxing, 
our vacation rental cabin is your home away from home.

$125/night. $750/wk for the summer of 2006. Rates are slightly 
higher during holidays and lower during off season (spring, fall, 
winter). Rates are subject to change.
