Beaver’s Pond is a beautiful and private property that is surrounded by forest and tall trees in a rural setting. We are centrally located at what is called the gateway to the Olympic Peninsula and The Olympic National Park. Julianna’s Cottage is a romantic upscale pine and hickory two bedroom, one bath cabin rental. It is furnished with Cedar furnishings and decorated in colorful southwestern decor. The living room has a propane fireplace and opens up to the deck which features a private hot tub, deck table and chairs. The bathroom has a beautiful forest green 5x5 diamond shaped tiled, combination shower/jacuzzi tub for two. The kitchen includes a full size stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, etc. and all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils are provided. The bedrooms have wonderful queen size cedar beds which are cozy and comfortable. The double closet doors are mirrored in both bedrooms and reflect the trees thru the windows. Outside overlooking the pond is a picnic table, Texas style smoking barbecue (charcoal) and a fire pit at the waters edge for those late night campfires. The private fishing pond is stocked with cut throat trout(no license required) and is for catch and release fishing. There is a rowboat and fishing poles for your use. There are also many wonderful bays, coves, beaches and lakes close by to clam, walk, and set your kayak in. Although there are short walking paths and viewing areas of the wetlands on the property.  Attractions

The Olympic National Forest & Parks offer over two million acres of land for visitors to enjoy. These pristine lands include scenic roads, hiking trails, skiing, boating, and fishing. Two highlights are Hurricane Ridge and the Hoh Rain Forest. Hurricane Ridge enables one to gain a wonderful perspective of the Olympic Peninsula. From 5,230 feet above sea level, open ridges provide wide views of the surrounding peaks, glaciers and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Great hiking, spectacular views and skiing in winter. Dungeness Spit and Lighthouse is a marine wildlife refuge. The spit was formed by eroding soil, wind, and water currents. It stretches 5 ½ miles out into the Strait of Juan de Fuca. It breaks the rough sea waves to form a quiet bay, gravel beaches and tidal flats. Tours of the lighthouse are available. And the hiking is beautiful. Olympic Game Farm - We highly recommend this treat it is a "must see" attraction in north Sequim. There are over 200 animals, including grizzly bears, buffalo, elk, tigers, timber wolves, llama's, deer, zebras, and yaks. Visitors can drive throughout the farm to see and feed animals out of your hand. Olympic Music Festival features music performed by world-class musicians in a turn-of-the-century barn on Washington's Olympic Peninsula. It runs every Saturday and Sunday at 2PM running from late June through Mid September This a fun day and a one of a kind experience. Be sure to pack a picnic lunch to eat at one of the many picnic tables and take some carrots to feed the donkeys. (206) 527 - 8839 (Concert In The Barn) Wooden Boat Festival celebrates 20 years of dedication to the recognition of the craftsmanship and beauty of wooden boats. There are normally 50 boats on display for visitors to view up close, with well over 150 additional boats in the bay. The festival offers live music, food booths and activities for children taking place every September. Port Townsend Jazz Festival is the culmination of a week long jazz workshop. It is one of the West Coast's premier festivals, and attracts a national audience. It has in its seventeen-year history presented great names in jazz, including Dexter Gordon, Stan Getz, Roy Hargrove, Marian MacPartland and Ray Brown. Washington State Ferries - Take a ferry or boat ride around the San Juan Islands or visit Victoria for the day. Tour the Uss Turner Joy - A Navy Destroyer A permanent public attraction on the Bremerton Waterfront along with the Naval Museum. Take a tour of a Forrest Sherman Class Destroyer. A wonderful ship tour of a 418 foot destroyer that was a flagship for Destroyer Squadron 13 and Destroyer Division 131. She did several tours that took in Pearl Harbor and Apra, and Guam. A 25 minute drive south of Beaver's Pond the tours are self guided and is open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day Fall, Winter and Spring, you can call for schedule and event information. 206-792- 2457 Many other submarines, carriers, and a variety of ships are available for viewing. Ludlow Golf Club our 27 holes of championship golf wind through fragrant and towering evergreens, open up to wooded vistas and give you stunningly beautiful backdrops of Ludlow Bay and Hood Canal. It's no wonder that Esquire Magazine rated Port Ludlow Golf Club one of the most scenic in the World, and they consistently rate it as one of the best Resort courses in the country by Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, and others. The Port Ludlow Golf Club is comprised on three 9s - Tide Nine, Timber Nine, and Trail Nine, offering 27 spectacular holes of challenge and enjoyment, designed by Robert Muir Graves. Each course is artfully carved and sculpted out of dense forest with no two holes playing alike.
