If you truly want to stay in the mountains our Collins Lake
property offers lodging literally minutes from the slopes and less
than an hour from Portland or the Central Oregon recreation area.
Your stay starts by parking in our heated 2-car garage and never
having to use it until departure. The first thing you'll notice is,
just like our other properties, that this is truly a home.
Cleanliness and functionality is our first goal and your snow
equipment will be safe in the racks we provide.
Your day can begin by preparing breakfast in our fully appointed
kitchen. Oven, stove, microwave and toaster oven, its all there.
Transportation to the slopes is easy with the "Porch to Powder"
Shuttle Service which circles through Collins Lake Resort for front
door pick-up. For those of you who don't enjoy hitting the slopes on
skis or a board you should check out the Skibowl East Snow Tubing
and Adventure Park. From an indoor ball pit to horse drawn sleigh
rides, hiking, swimming (outdoor heated pool) even outdoors Jacuzzi,
there is an activity for every type of person. Don't forget, a warm
fire and quick lunch is just a few minutes away back at the chalet.
After a full day, whether enjoying the year round snow sports (yes,
year round skiing) or hiking the local trails during summer there’s
a comfortable evening waiting for you. It starts with your choice of
the local fare or have your own barbecue on the deck.
The evening is finished with a cozy fire and your choice of 3
satellite TV’s, 3 DVD players, VCR and Playstation. Don't be
surprised by the good night’s sleep you'll get. It’s not just the
clean mountain air. Vacations are for relaxing and you'll find this
chalet’s furnishings are designed to do just that, right down to
upgraded mattresses in the bedrooms. Remember, we also stay here, so
we made it a great place to stay.
