One of the best luxury vacation rental homes in the British Virgin

This beautiful Tortola vacation home is approached up a winding road
through the breezy green hills of the private residential area known
as Havers Estate. On arrival, a broad staircase of Mexican coral tile
leads through the double entry doors to a sunny enclosed courtyard
with an expansive deck of crushed coral tile around a central swimming
pool. All accommodations are on this single level deck apart from the
two upper bedrooms.

A roofed poolside area provides a beautiful setting for casual dining,
with the adjacent gourmet kitchen and bar immediately at hand. A
curved glass brick wall separates the kitchen from the very spacious
lounge. Here you find comfortable, overstuffed sofas for lounging in
front of the TV, as well as a fully functional Vista computer station
with high speed DSL and WiFi - Skype and MagicJack are both set up for
worldwide calls.

The western side of the deck has four similar bedroom suites. The two
lower suites open onto a semi-shaded deck hung with a double hammock
while the upper two suites have private balconies. The fifth suite is
to the east of the pool. Each of the five suites has a beautiful ocean
view and features an impressive teak king four-poster bed with deep
comfortable mattress, ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning and cable TV
with VCR.

Summer Heights

Tortola’s best beaches are along the north shore. Long Bay Beach is
the closest to Summer Heights, about a 12 minutes drive. Smuggler’s
Cove, arguably the best beach on Tortola, is a few minutes further
west. The safest beach for children is Cane Garden Bay, also about a
12 minute drive from Summer Heights. The sandy beach shelves gently
into the ocean and the waves are usually gentle. There are beach
loungers and water toys for rent. In the winter months, surfing
conditions can be found at Apple & Josiah’s Bays.

Historic Sites: Visit the Old Government House in Road Town; the
Dungeon at Pockwood Pond; the remains of a sugar plantation at Mount
Healthy and a working Rum Distillery at Cane Garden Bay

Visit the Botanic Gardens in Road Town or explore the Sage Mountain
rain forest. Eco-kayak through a mangrove forest. Rent a mountain bike.

Frequent ferries allow day trips to Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda,
Anegada, Cooper Island, Marina Cay, Peter Island or Norman Island and
even to the US Virgin Islands

Fly to Anegada a coral island 15 miles north of Virgin Gorda. Fringed
by sandy beaches, this island is a paradise.

Private day sailing trips to Norman Island for great snorkelling at
The Indians and The Caves or Jost Van Dyke. Ask about availability of

SCUBA - Blue Water Divers from Nanny Cay Marina or UBS at East End.

Spa & Beauty treatments. Have a masseuse visit you at the villa or go
a world renowned spa like the one on Peter Island

Shopping: The best souvenir shops are in Road Town and West End. All
major grocery stores and beverage stores are in Road Town, although
there are convenience stores close to Summer Heights
