Modern patio home in Fairway Oaks complex in Amelia Island 
Plantation. Very quiet location, but close to all amenities. Four 18 
hole courses on Plantation, plus a 27 hole municipal within 2 miles. 
Island has a twelve mile beach with sand dunes and live oaks. Beach 
(10-15 minutes) and golf access (5 minutes) are a walk from villa. 

Plantation has four golf courses, large tennis club, health club, 
spa, restaurants, beach club, etc. Great for families. Plantation 
rents bikes, golf carts and Segways for getting around. Also have 
kayaks for rent to explore Intracoastal. Access to some of these 
Plantation facilities require Amenity Card @ $65/day. Nearby downtown 
Fernandina Beach is on National Historic Register, has a scenic 
harbor, and offers great shopping, art and dining. Claimed to be 
the "Shrimp Capital" of USA. Amelia is very quiet and relaxing, but 
has great dining, recreation and attractions.

There is a community pool directly behind the villa, various walking 
trails and great wildlife viewing around the intra-coastal marshes 
(easy walk from villa.) 

Amelia Island is about 12 miles long by only a mile or two wide, so 
ocean and broad intra-coastal marshes are everywhere. Nearby 
Fernandina Beach is a quaint little town whose downtown is on the 
National Historic Register. It features numerous little restaurants 
and shops, and is an art mecca. Its waterfront has a shrimp fleet, a 
great marina (sport fishing and cruises available) and several 
waterfront restaurants. Fort Clinch State Park (about 5 miles from 
villa) has a well preserved Civil War era fort (on the water) and 
miles of walking and biking. There is also a State park at the 
southern end of the island with beautiful beaches.

Mar. 1 - Sep. 15 .... $200/night - $1200/week
Sep. 16 - Oct. 31 ... $160/night - $950/week

Monthly rentals available at 3 times weekly rate.
Minimum stay is 3 nights. $65 cleaning fee required for stays of less 
than a week.
