Home is located on waterfront with easy access to the water.The depth 
of the water increases gradually which is ideal for young children or 
non-swimmers. There is a canoe and rowboat available for use.
There is a deck on the waterside that is accessed from the living 
room with a gas grill and patio furniture.

It is about a two mile walk to the center of Monterey where you will 
find the quaint Monterey General Store, library and Post Office. 
Monterey is located about 10 minutes from Great Barrington, 15 
minutes from downtown Stockbridge, and less than 30 minutes from 
Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow and the Berkshire Playhouse.
The area offers a wide variety of dining experiences conveniently 
located.
The Berkshires offer many scenic as well as cultural activities which 
are easily accessible from Monterey.
Lake Garfield is a pristine lake and offers a Town Beach with a 
lifeguard and opportunities for children to play with other children.
There are many local farms that offer fresh, summer produce.
The area contains many antique shops as well as art galleries.

Summer rental rates are $2000 per week and $7000 per month through 
Labor Day.  Opportunities are available for rental after Labor Day at 
a rate of $1500 per week.
Off-season rental is available as this home is located near several 
ski areas. Contact owner for further information regarding winter 
rentals.

A $500 deposit must be paid within 10 days of placing your 
reservation in order to guarantee availability. This will also serve 
as your security deposit in case of damages. Additional payment of 
the full rental amount must be made 3 weeks prior to arrival.
