We welcome you to “Sea, Sand and Stars Cottage, where you will
experience the overwhelming wonder of the ocean, PEI’s beautiful and
clean soft red sand, perfect quietness, and amazing starry night skies.
The cottage is situated on a large grassy, pine and larch bordered
lot, part of a 2.5 acre property. It overlooks the cape, our 500 ft.
beach and the expansive ocean where the Gulf of St Lawrence and
Northumberland Strait meet. The beach is accessed by a short walk
through the wooded area at the side of the yard. Plan to relax, build
sand castles or walking for miles. In one direction the walk takes
you to the Miminegash Harbor where fishing boats come and go carrying
their seasonal catches. Fresh fish is available to purchase. A short
distance further brings you to Miminegash a little fishing village
with 2 small convenience stores, a post office and a gas station.
Continuing through the village takes you to the door of the famous
“Seaweed Pie Restaurant” where mouth water seaweed pie and coffee
await you.
Walking the other direction from the property takes you past iron
laden water seeping from the cape, a view of the windmills and many
more of the stunning, ever changing ocean waves.

Balance plus 10% tax and a Damage Deposit of $500.00, 30 days prior to
occupancy
Damage Deposit refunded as soon as possible after occupancy assuming
there is no damage.
Rates do not include 10% tax
