entry point for the BWCA.  Lots of wildlife in the area such as 
deer, moose, bears, wolves, fox, and more.  Great hiking trails in 
the area including one that can be reached from the property.  Great 
cross country ski trails and snowmobile trails for winter fun.  
Don't forget ice fishing.  

This is a very beautiful area with much of the surrounding 
properties being small family run resorts.  This allows for rentals 
from the resorts of boats, skiis, snowmobiles, and even horses for 
horseback riding.  The surrounding resorts also offer dining and 
shopping.  However, where this property is located is remote with 
only a handful of cabins, so there is privacy that one can't find at 
a neighboring resort.  

The house is on the lake and in the summer there is a dock.  The 
water is accessible for swimming.  There is a quaint historic cabin 
on the property which may be available for rent following 
renovations.  This cabin was once visited by Elliot Ness from the 
untouchables for his honeymoon.  Just a little slice of history.

wildlife watching, and more.
