This 4-season heated and air-conditioned log-construction lodge is
located steps from beautiful Norcan Lake and 12 minutes from the
Calabogie Peaks Ski and Golf area. The Lodge is ideally suited for
family reunions, large groups and special purpose meetings. The
interior is finished with exposed beams and the extensive use of
wood throughout. A large wrap-around deck has beautiful views of
Norcan Lake and plenty of seating from which you can enjoy the view.
The Lodge was named for its size and for the beautiful log work that
comprises the majority of the exterior and interior of the building.

The 7-bedroom Lodge is furnished with many antiques, but also with
all the modern conveniences for your comfort. The kitchen has a
refrigerator, a stand-alone freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a 6-
burner gas stove. It is supplied with all your cooking needs,
including dishes, pots, pans and utensils suitable for large
groups. The dining room table will seat 14 and there are 2 propane
BBQs just outside on the deck. The large living room has a wood
burning fireplace and extensive windows which provide a lovely view
of the lake. Satellite TV and high-speed Internet access keeps you
in touch with the outside world. The main bathroom offers a Jacuzzi
bath to relax in after a day spent exploring the great outdoors,
fishing on the lake, or just relaxing with a good book. There is a
preparation/laundry room which has an additional fridge, washer and
dryer.

Calabogie Peaks Ski Resort and Golf Centre is 12 minutes away.
At the Lodge, hiking and cross-country skiing are at your doorstep.
There is excellent fishing in season for bass, walleye and pike and
the many panfish provide lots of fun for the children. For nature
lovers the wildlife is amazing. Deer, moose, wolves, racoons,
otters, muskrats, chipmunks and squirrels all frequent the area.
Birders will not be disappointed with the many hummingbirds,
grosbeaks, sparrows, finches, warblers, ducks, eagles, hawks,
partridge, wild turkeys and herons.
Complementary use of badminton sets, volleyball, horseshoes, two
paddleboats and a canoe is provided. Boat rentals are available.

Rates |
|
High Season: CDN $1,900 plus taxes a week for 8 persons or less.
For each additional adult add $200 plus taxes per week. For each
additional child under 12 years add $100 plus taxes per week.
Weekly rentals only during the High Season.
Low Season: CDN $1,500 plus taxes for 8 persons or less. For each
additional adult add $175 plus taxes per week. For each additional
child under 12 years add $75 plus taxes per week.
Christmas and New Year's weeks are $2,300 plus applicable taxes for
8 persons or less. Each additional adult add $200 plus taxes per
week and each additional child under 12 years add $100 plus taxes
per week.
Regular weekend rate is $450 plus taxes for 2 nights for 2 persons.
Each additional person add $75 plus taxes per person per night.
Long-weekend rate $600 plus taxes for 3 nights for 2 persons. For
extra persons add $75 plus taxes per person per night.
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required on booking. Pay by
PayPal, online bank transfer or send a check by mail. Please note
that we do not accept credit cards except through PayPal. The
balance of your account can be paid by cash, travelers check, money
order or your personal check, upon registration on arrival.
Boat rentals are available and rental rates depend on the size of
the boat and motor.
