A Bear’s Haven is that perfect Snowshoe location for enjoying any
season’s holiday. Whether you are skiing, golfing, fishing,
whitewater rafting, catching one of the many events in the village or
enjoying your favorite beverage at the table on the deck, A Bear’s
Haven has it all. With its granite counters and tile floors in the
kitchen and bathrooms, the thermostat controlled gas fireplace, high
speed DSL Internet, you will see that A Bear’s Haven will be your
favorite destination in the mountains. Whether you are staying in the
Moose room, Bird Room or the downstairs get "em" out of your hair
teen room, you will find superb accommodations. All bedrooms have
their own TV with built in DVD. The three upstairs adult rooms have
wall mounted HD LCD TV's with built in DVD players. The garage has
the added convenience of having a door opener. No big deal but it
sure makes it nice when there is a foot of snow outside. There are
Ski racks galore in the garage and plenty of room for the boarder’s
gear. A Bear’s Haven is a short walk to the village and located on
the green friendly Upper Flume ski slope. As an active member of the
National Ski Patrol, Snowshoe Ski Patrol and summer’s Mountain Bike
Patrol, I can attest that you will feel like a bear wanting to
hibernate at Snowshoe’s best location, A Bear’s Haven!
