A very spacious new 2 bedroom townhouse, spread over 3 floors with
modern décor, perched on the top of Kaperes Hill, overlooking the
picturesque port and beach of Agia Anna and the stunning beaches of
Plaka and Aghios Prokopious. The house has 3 very large terraces with
180 degree panoramic views (see photo above) along the South West
coast of Naxos and of the neighbouring islands of Paros, Iraklia, Ios,
Sikinos, Folegandros, Mykonos, Tinos and Siros.
You enter the house via the middle level; here there is a fully fitted
kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, dining
and living areas, 2 double sofa beds, flat screen TV with DVD player
and a music centre. This leads to a large balcony with table and
chairs and spectacular views.
From the middle level, stairs lead down to a large double bedroom with
fitted cupboards, king size bed and a double sofa bed. There is also a
shower room and a laundry room. From the bedroom there are double
doors leading onto a 25 square metre balcony with sun beds, table and
chairs and glorious views along the Naxos coastline.
From the middle level stairs lead up to a large double bedroom with
fitted cupboards and a king size bed. There is a shower room adjacent
to the bedroom; double doors lead out onto a very large balcony with
sun beds, table and chairs and stunning views.
A short 5 minute walk down paradise road brings you to the village and
port of Agia Anna. Here you can find grocery stores, restaurants,
bars, car and bike rental. The sandy beach is very popular with
families as it is far enough away from the local beach road, and has
chairs/umbrellas for hire.
A short 10 minute walk from the house brings you to Plaka beach. Made
famous by the hippies in the 70’s and 80’s, the 4 kilometre long sandy
beach is surrounded by sand dunes and rare cedar forest. At the back
of the beach are many tavernas and restaurants to suit all tastes, and
plenty of water sports and activities including a scuba diving centre
(P.A.D.I.), windsurfing, kite surfing and horse riding.
A 15 minute walk in the other direction and adjacent to Agia Anna
beach is the wonderful Aghios Prokopious. Here you will find a
splendid award winning beach and plenty of restaurants, cafes and
bars.
A frequent local bus service links all three beaches with Chora the
main town of Naxos. The buses run from early in the morning until late
at night. Taxis are also available.
