Shopping abounds near Surfside Beach, Texas. While the town itself
boasts only a convenience store, surf shop and a few small stores
(including an organic snack bar!), the shopping destinations are a 
few
miles away.

Freeport, Texas with a little over 12,000 residents, boasts a number
of specialty and antique shops. However, for shopoholics, the nearest
place to feed that addiction is the Brazos Mall.

The Brazos Mall provides two-point-four-million square feet of retail
shopping. Brazos Mall is located in Lake Jackson, Texas, at the
intersection of Highway 332 and FM 2004 seven miles from Surfside
Beach, Texas.

From Dillards to American Eagle to Hot Topic for the teens, the
selection of stores is awesome.
