“The Carriage House" in Lakeport is located at Clear Lake between the
great Sacramento Valley and the Pacific Coast. This upscale cottage
shares the beautifully landscaped grounds of one of Lakeport's
loveliest historic homes. Built by Herbert Keeling in 1906, The
Carriage House has been completely remodeled to serve as a vacation
rental. The 1200 square foot cottage has been fitted with period
furnishings as well as all the modern amenities. Perfect for two
couples, each of the two bedrooms has its own private bath, and both
have queen-size beds. The large master bedroom also has a daybed for
two, making a total sleeping capacity of six. The beautiful patio
area of this romantic getaway is perfect for just relaxing and
sunning yourself with a favorite book or for those evening BBQ's.

The Carriage House has been awarded Four Pears by the Lake County
Visitor's Guide, which noted The Carriage House's extensive
amenities, combined with a high degree of hospitality, service, and
attention to detail. Known as the Bass Capital of the West, Clear
Lake is California’s largest natural freshwater lake. Boating, water
sports and fishing abound. Located just 100 yards from the lake and
a public boat launch, The Carriage House has covered parking for your
boat and vehicles. Other launching facilities are located downtown,
just a few blocks away.

There is a wealth of things to do and places to go. Trips to Fort
Bragg (on the coast), the Redwoods, the Napa Valley, the San
Francisco Bay area and Sacramento take about two hours or less. You
can try your luck at any of the nearby casinos! The Carriage House
is only a few blocks from downtown Lakeport and Library Park where
you pack a picnic basket and enjoy an afternoon at the lake or a
summer Friday night concert.

We require a $500 deposit (becomes a refundable damage deposit) &
signed contract due at booking with remaining balance due 30 days
prior to your planned arrival date.There is a $85 cleaning fee and we
must also collect 10% occupancy tax on all bookings. If you cancel
your reservation 21 days prior to your planned arrival date, we will
refund your reservation deposit in full. There will be a $50 charge
