has wireless internet, telephone, fax and photocopier. 

Sun umbrellas, beach toys/diversions available. Also bocce (lawn) 
bowls, badminton, many board games, etc. 

At low tide the sandy beach is almost two miles long. 20-minute walk 
to the beach (5 minutes by car or bike). 

From our house it is an easy walk to shops, restaurants, live 
theatre, cafes, parks, swimming pool (including sauna, steam room, 
hot-tub), grocery store and all amenities. 

On Saturdays walk to the Farmer's Market for fresh seafood & more 
from local fishers & farmers.

Countryside strolls & well-maintained forest paths are a minute's 
walk from the house. 

For the athletic, as above there is excellent jogging in the many 
wood-chip trails right in town, excellent road cycling on the less 
busy seaside Island Highway & local rural routes, loads of mountain-
biking trails, tennis, squash & swimming facilities. Also ask at 
local bike & outdoor shops for organized runs, rides & ocean swims. 

Walk to town, beach, mountain-bike trails, forest walking trails, 
swimming pool, tennis courts, local farms. 

Ten minutes or less drive to five golf courses, marina & fishing 
charters, minigolf, waterslide, hiking trails, Coombs "goats-on-the-
roof" market & shops, and many local artisans. 

One hour or less drive to other towns & cities, several other golf 
courses, and car and foot ferries to several smaller islands. In 
alpine areas there are breathtaking hiking trails, and at Mount 
Washington restaurants, hiking, mountain biking & a gondola to the 
peak for amazing views of Georgia Strait and the coastal mountains. 

All rentals require a cheque for full payment as confirmation. (If 
cancelling 50% may be refundable with more than three weeks 
notification before start of rental.)
