The Surf House is a charming 800 sq ft, single story, Rio Del Mar 
Beach bungalow. Built in the 1930's as part of the Rio Del Mar 
Country Club in Aptos Ca, it retains many of the original features. 
Rio Del Mar State Beach is kid and pet friendly with shallow waters 
and expansive beach. 10 min south of Santa Cruz, on the sunny side of 
the Monterey Bay.  Expansive view of Rio Del Mar State Beach from the 
living room and deck.  Watch the surf and beach activities from the 
comfort of your lazy boy recliner or deck chair.  Master Bedroom has 
a queen size bed, 2nd bedroom has 2 twins, twin trundle bed in living 
room make sleeping for 6. Deck has a charcoal barbeque & redwood 
picnic table.

Pets ok. Fully furnished. TV, DVD, phone, and internet connection 
provided. Steps from the Rio Del Mar State beach. See the USS Palo 
Alto from your living room. This cement ship was brought to Rio Del 
Mar beach in the 1920's and turned into a floating nightclub. Time 
and tides took its toll. The cement ship is now the home for 
numerous fish and sea birds. The pier leading to the ship offers no-
license required fishing. 90 minutes from San Francisco. 40 minutes 
from Monterey or San Jose. 10 minutes to the Capitola. 15 minutes to 
Santa Cruz Mountains and redwoods.

Sleeping for 6. Two Bedrooms. Queen in master bedroom, twin beds in 
2nd bedroom, twin trundle beds in living room alcove. 1 bathroom with 
shower.  Dining table seats 6. Kitchen have original cabinets with 
modern appliances.  Cable HDTV and DVD player, wireless internet, 
free phone throughout the US. Sorry no washer or dryer but 2 
laundromats within 2 miles. Large deck, picnic table and charcoal 
BBQ, deck chairs, beach chairs, beach toys. Master bedroom has 
balcony overlooking the Aptos hills.  Living room and deck have views 
of Rio Del Mar Beach, the USS Palo Alto, and all the way to Pleasure 
Point in Capitola.
