Situated on the southern outskirts of the historic market town of 
Hexham this traditional stone Northumbrian farm house sits in its 
own south facing garden providing wholly private accommodation of a 
high standard with views to the south across the owner’s fields 
over 
which you have full access.	
	

The cottage sleeps four + cot. It is entered via a spacious 
hall/utility room leading to an open plan sitting room with open 
stone fireplace. There is a farmhouse dining room/kitchen with oil 
fired AGA. Upstairs are a double bedroom and a twin bedded room and 
bathroom/wc with over bath shower. 
	Pets are welcome although we would ask for no more than two 
well-behaved dogs please. Grazing and stabling can be available for 
up to two horses or ponies.
There is included in the letting :- electricity, fuel oil for full 
central heating and AGA, fuel for open fire, parking, colour TV, 
telephone(honesty box), automatic washing machine, dish washer, 
electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge, iron, cot, high chair, 
garden furniture, and barbeque.
	All bed linen including duvets etc. and all necessary 
cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils.

Hexham offers supermarkets, shops, restaurants and pubs together 
with sports facilities of many kinds. There are no less than four 
golf courses within easy reach including the renowned Slaley Hall 
and Matfen Hall courses. Fishing, riding and sailing are all 
available locally. National Hunt racing is only ½ mile away.	
	Visit, and walk, Hadrian’s Wall and see Housesteads fort 
and 
Vindolanda. Go to Alnwick Castle for the "Hogwarts" experience and 
browse in the Duchess’ Garden. Take the Coastal Route and see the 
castles and beaches and cross the causeway to Lindisfarne.
	Explore the extensive Northumberland National Park and 
Kielder Forest Park continuing up into the wild and romantic 
Borders.To the south west and within easy distance is the Lake 
District.
	Visit Newcastle for its vibrant nightlife on the Quayside. 
There you can see the Millennium Bridge and find the Baltic Centre 
for Contemporary Arts and the Sage Gateshead Music Centre.

minimum.

25% deposit  payable at time of  booking with balance payable not 
less than 4 weeks before start of letting. Full price payable on 
booking within 4 weeks of start of letting.
