Description
|
|
Our villa is situated 1600m from the picturesque village of Lindos.
The villa is built on a plot of 1600 sqm which is surrounded by
beautifully crafted local stone walls and has its own private
swimming pool. We have worked closely with the developer to ensure
that Villa Aegean View is a suitable villa for all guests especially
families with young children. The garden boasts a large grassed
area which is situated on a lower level which is located away from
the swimming pool area, so for your peace of mind you'll know your
children are extremely safe when playing on the grass or the
specially provided play area that will be presented in the garden,
with everything that your children could want from slides to swings,
to play houses. The villa has 2 double bedrooms, both bedrooms lead
onto a spacious balcony and over looks the crystal clear waters of
the aegean sea and the panoramic views of the imposing mountains of
navarone There is a spacious open plan living/dining area and state
of the art kitchen.
The ground floor is open plan, it consists of a spacious
lounge/dining/kitchen.
The lounge has a luxurious brown leather corner sofa which converts
into a sofa bed. It has an LCD flat screen satelite television with
DVD player and air conditioning. The patio doors from the living
area lead out onto a tastefully designed terrace next to the
swimming pool with unobstructed views out to the aegean sea. We
have a selection of DVDs, books, board games and childrens toys.
The dining area has a contemporary oak table and leather chairs for
6 people, the dining area also has its own seperate patio doors,
this also leads to the poolside terrace and is fully air
conditioned.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hood, hob,
washing machine, large fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle,
pans, cutlery & crockery. We also have a high chair available for
the little ones, childrens plates, dishes, cups and cutlery. The
kitchen is also fully air conditioned.
There is a ground floor cloakroom which consists of WC and wash
basin.
The master bedroom has been spaciously designed. It has a king size
bed and fitted wardrobes. There are patio doors that lead onto a
spacious balcony that is furnished with a wooden table and
comfortable chairs, which looks out onto the crystal clear Aegean
sea and the extensive gardens and surrounding mountains of Navarone,
There is also room for a babies cot in this bedroom (available on
request)
The second bedroom has two single beds and fitted wardrobes. Again
there are patio doors that open up onto a smaller balcony, this
bedroom also shares the same views as the master bedroom.
Both bedrooms are air conditioned for those warm Lindian nights.
The bathroom is tastefully tiled and comprises of WC, hand basin and
has a luxurious jacuzzi bath with a wall mounted shower head and
screen. The entire bathroom has been decorated to an exceptionally
high specification.
The views of the surrounding mountains of navarone are exquisite and
are very picturesque especially at sunset.
There is a spacious terraced area leading from the living room and
dining area with a wooden table and 6 chairs, ideal for those who
enjoy alfresco dining. The swimming pool is 8m x 4m in size and has
an external showering area, the pool is surrounded by a sun terrace
and has 6 comfortable sun loungers
The garden is a generous 1500sqm in size and is located on a lower
level to the swimming pool and is surrounded by local flowers and
plants. The grassed area, which is 400sqm in size is ideal for the
children to play on, as its away from the swimming pool and is on a
lower level. There is a variety of outside toys for the children to
choose from such as slides, a playhouse, little bikes and lots more.
We feel as parents ourselves that it is important to have a villa

Attractions |
|
SEVEN SPRINGS
A beautiful wooded area with natural springs and an ice cool lake.
ideal for a picnic and relaxing walk, or a meal in the wonderful
taverna whilst watching the peacocks and ducks.
ANCIENT KAMIROS
A vast excavation on the west coast of Rhodes and one of three Doric
Greek cities that established the island of Rhodes. Kamiros had
neither an Acropolis nor fortifications and it eventually fell into
ruin and oblivion. It was not until 1929 that the Italians began to
seriously excavate here and they turned up a most extensive series
of both public and domestic structures, which include the public
baths, a Temple to Athena, a Hellenistic house and a 6th Century BC
cistern. A definite step back in time and well worth a guided tour.
TSAMBIKA MONASTERY
This is a very famous monastery situated just off the main road, on
the way to the beautiful Tsambika beach. Set on the mountain top
this small Byzantine building is surrounded by stone walls and
offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The climb
is quite strenuous, so practical walking shoes are a must.
MONOLITHOS
Perched on top of a huge rock are the impressive ruins of Monolithos
castle. As well as the castle, there is a small chapel which is
still in use today. However, the real reason for making the trip to
Monolithos is the breathtaking views. We can gaurantee some of the
most fantastic photographs of your holiday will be taken from the
castle walls overlooking the rest of the Dodecanese archipelago.
PRASSONISSI
The southern most tip of the island where the Aegean sea meets the
Mediterranean sea. Windsurfers flock to show off their skills on the
choppy Aegean, whilst the Mediterranean gently laps onto the
beautiful stretch of golden sandy beach, which seperates the two
seas.
VALLEY OF THE BUTTERFLIES
This is one of the special attractions on Rhodes, situated in the
middle of the island, just 16 miles south of Rhodes Town. This lush
wooded gorge with rustic bridges stretching over a rippling stream
is a haven for thousands of butterflies. The butterflies start to
appear in June and can usually be seen in the area until September.
The fragile beauty of these butterflies and the tranquil setting
will stay in your memory forever.
KALITHEA SPA
Just 6 miles south of Rhodes Town on the east coast lies the old
Italian built spa. The attractive domed pavilions with pink marble
pillows and moorish archways stand abandoned where once visitors
flocked to bathe in its healing waters. Here you will find a lovely
rocky cove lined with palm trees that is excellent for snorkeling.
This is the only place on the island where scuba diving is allowed.
THE WATER PARK
The Water Park is the biggest fun water park in Europe and is the
first to arrive on the island of Rhodes. The park is situated in the
lively resort of Faliraki and is approximately 40 minutes drive from
Villa Aegean View. The Water Park will offer remarkable and
spectacular rides, unique splash pools, Wave pools and Water slides.

TURKEY
Sample another culture, another continent, the famous port and
resort of Marmaris on the Turkish coast. Fly to this magical town by
hydrofoil and lose yourself in the land of magic carpets and eternal
mysteries. You'll have a quick but informative tour around the
buzzing bazaar and then it's up to you to discover the many bargains
just waiting to be snapped up....Gold, Leather, Sportswear and
Jewellery. After all that bargaining how about a quick rub down in
the Turkish baths! or stroll on the marina with its impressive
millionaires yachts?
