Parasailors pick this location just above our cottage to soar with
the I'o (Hawaiian Hawk, say ee-o) because of the spectacular views
of the ocean, whales, spinner dolphins, and the Captain Cook
Monument. The cool breeze that comes off the steep lush green Pali
causes an up draft to stay adrift. Below is the marine preserve of
Kealakekua Bay. Many say this area is one of the best kayaking and
snorkeling in all of Hawaii.
