The Holmes Barn is a large barn conversion situated in 10 acres of 
its own grounds.  It has a large open plan design lower floor ideal 
for family gatherings, parties etc.  It consists of a large kitchen 
with electric range cooker, microwave, dishwasher and all the 
crockery and cutlery you will need.  The lounge has a large dining 
table and seating for 16 also a log effect electric fire.  There is 
a downstairs cloakroom with sink and toilet and futon bed which can 
be curtained off to make a separate sleeping area if needed.  
Upstairs are 4 bedrooms and two "jack and jill" bathrooms.  The 
bedrooms are made up of various arrangements but are all single beds 
and adult bunk beds. Outside is a separate drying room with washing 
machine and plenty of space to store outside/wet weather clothing.

The Holmes Barn is situated in 10 acres of its own grounds and has 
adjacent to it Hulmes Vale House a large cottage sleeping upto 14. 
There is ample parking for all guests and has its own lawn/patio 
area and use of a BBQ.

Placed in the heart of the Peak District National Park, the Holmes 
Barn is an ideal location for visitors to get to many of the local 
attractions.  Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are only 30mins away. 
The spa town of Buxton is a short drive away and we have many trails 
and walks for visitors to explore nearby.  Gliding, golf, fishing, 
climbing and horse riding are just a few of the attractions close 
by. We are approx 1.5 hours away from Alton Towers and 
Sheffield/Chesterfield and Manchester are no more than 1 hours drive 
away.
