Relax with a stay in our recently renovated country farmhouse 
located outside of the "book village" of Hobart.  The Catskill 
Scenic Trail is just a short walk from your doorstep and you're free 
to wander the farm and explore the surrounding countryside.  Only 
about a 3 hour drive from New York City, but truly a world away from 
all that hustle and bustle!     

The house has three bedrooms - one queen sized bed and two twin beds 
on the first floor and a queen sized futon on the second floor.  
(The second floor bedroom may not be available in the winter 
months). All linens (sheets, towels, pillows, etc.) are supplied.  

There are two bathrooms - 1 full and one half.  

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, wood cookstove, 
fridge, microwave, coffee maker & grinder, pots & pans, plates, 
silverware, cooking pans, etc.  There's also a washer and dryer for 
your use.  

A TV is available in the living room (but sorry, only about 3 
channels) as well as a VCR/DVD player and a CD player.  Some games, 
cards, videos and music CD's as available as well.  

A charcoal grill (with the charcoal) is provided.  There's also 
a fire pit up on the hill behind the house for those wonderful 
spring, summer and fall evenings!

The house is about an hour from Cooperstown and 45 minutes from the 
great ski areas and hiking trails around Hunter,Windham and 
Tannersville.  We're about 20-30 minutes from Ski Plattekill in 
Roxbury.  

For those rainy days, there are a number of used bookstores close by 
in Hobart and in other nearby villages.

In the summer you might want to check out some of the area fairs 
(including the Dairy Fest, the Delaware County Fair or the 
Cobleskill Fair) or music events at some of the local ski areas and 
venues such as the West Kortright Centre.  

And while we're definitely in the country, there are a number 
of good restaurants within an easy drive if you just don't feel like 
cooking!

There is a two-night minimum stay.

Base Rates Peak Season - May 1st to Sept. 30th:
  2-day weekend - $300.00
  3-day weekend - $390.00
  (per day):      $100.00
  Week:           $700.00
  Monthly:        $2,400.00

Base Rates Off-Season - Oct. 1st to April 30th:
  2-day weekend - $200.00
  3-day weekend - $275.00
  (per day):      $ 85.00
  Week:           $600.00
  Monthly:        $2,100.00

The prices above DO NOT include 8% sales tax and cleaning fee of $50 
to $85 depending on the length of stay.  

Well behaved dogs are considered; there is a small additional fee 
per dog (ranges from $25 to $100 depending on the length of stay).

A 30% deposit required to reserve the farmhouse.  Personal checks, 
cash and credit cards (through Pay Pal; 3% surcharge) are accepted.
