 Description 


The apartment is on the second floor of a superb building on the site of the old school and built with the original stone. Victoria Court is situated 5 minutes from Ulverston town centre and 2 minutes to the Hoad Monument and is only yards away from pubs and restaurants selling excellent food and cask ales. The apartment sleeps 6 people comfortably, and is well equipped offering comfort, space and high quality furnishings. The apartment comprises of a large bright lounge with dining area, Kitchen, 2 Bedrooms and Bathroom. A high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout with a keen attention to detail. Well maintained communal grounds and landscaped gardens with a children’s play area are available to guests. The apartment is just a few minutes walk from the quaint town centre of Ulverston where you will find a fascinating range of visitor attractions, pubs, shops, restaurants and boutiques, with the largest street market in the South Lakes. If you are into outdoor pursuits, Ulverston is well served with Grizedale Forest Park just a short drive away and the whole of the Lake District to explore on your doorstep and the start of the Cumbria Way. Other activities are well catered for in Ulverston with a swimming pool, tennis courts, astro pitches, bowling greens and golf courses. Parking for 2 cars and Broadband Internet connection is available.

The Lake District, well known for its natural beauty and wide variety of outdoor activities, also offers a wealth of superb visitor attractions, festivals and events for all the family. Step back in time at one of South Lakeland’s historic houses or fascinating museums, relax on a lake cruise or steam railway or follow in the footsteps of great literary characters like William Wordsworth, Beatrix Potter and John Ruskin who all lived in the Southern Lake District and whose homes you can visit.



 Rates 



£200 - £400 per week.(Sat - Sat) A 25% non refundable deposit is required per week, when booking, with the balance due 8 weeks prior to the holiday start date. Should the balance of the holiday not be paid by the due date the booking will be considered cancelled. In the event of cancellation any payments made will be refunded if the cottage is re-let, subject to an administration/cancellation fee of £100. Premises are available from 4 pm Saturday and will be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure. At our discretion, we may accept a well behaved dog by prior arrangement and access must be restricted to the tiled area of the ground floor of the house at all times. Surcharges upon application. The holidaymaker undertakes to leave the property and its contents in the same condition as at the commencement of the holiday and to leave the property in the same state of cleanliness in which it was found. You will be charged accordingly for any extra cleaning which is necessary. The owner of the property will be compensated for any damage and breakages which occur. Our mailing list is operated in accordance with the terms of the Data Protection Act. We will not disclose your details to third parties and we promise to remove your details upon request.
