located on the first floor. The second floor is unfinished and not
accessible. You can enjoy birds,wildlife, flowers, and stars in our
yard. Use the picnic table and grill to enjoy the outdoors. Our home
is located within 10 minutes of Echo Lake Swimming Beach, Seawall, and
Bass Harbor Light House. Just minutes from harbor views, marinas, and
town. Town has bike/kayak/boat rentals, oceanarium, nature cruises,
shopping, sailing, golfing, restaurants, fine-dining, groceries, drug
store, laundromat, and play ground. Easy access to several lakes,
biking and hiking trails. Only 20 minutes from Bar Harbor. See
Cadillac Mountain, Thunder Hole, Jordan Pond House, or Park Loop Road.
Go whale watching, horseback riding, carriage riding or take a ferry
to Swan's Island.

Newly built home (2006) has fully equipped kitchen including coffee
maker, blender, and dishwasher. Many little extras included to make it
feel like home. Also has picnic table and grill outside. Enjoy
wildlife and flowers in garden right in the front yard.  Sheets,
towels, and linens included. Cable TV and DVD player in the family
room. Toys, books, puzzles, games, and DVD's for all ages on-site.

An apartment is on the premises. It is a separate building
with its own utilities and parking away from house.

Close to Acadia National Park Activities, Ranger programs, Oceanarium,
Repertory Theater, Echo Lake & Long Pond, Bass Harbor Head Light,
Nature Cruises, and Seawall. You may drive or catch the FREE Island
Explorer buses (in season) to go nearby for hiking (all levels of
abilities), biking, kayaking, swimming, playing in tidal pools, or
visiting Bar Harbor. Do some sight-seeing of Somes Sound, lighthouses,
Sergant Drive, and sun-set cruises. Take pictures of the working
harbors, learn about the lobster industry via boat tour or shop at
nautical stores selling buoys and model-ship kits.
