The name of our house is "Dream Come True" and it has truly been a
dream.  Our home can make your dreams come true too!  Bring your
family and friends for a relaxing vacation on Lake Gaston. Our home 
is located in the very popular “Pea Hill Creek” area.  We have all 
the comforts of home and a wonderful lake in the backyard.  The 
gently sloping yard takes you to the sandy beach area and boat house.
There is also a vacant slip in the boathouse to tie up your boat (slip
w/o a boat-lift).  

We have a small floating ramp/dock that is great for tying up
jet skis as well.  Additionally there is a private boat ramp/launch in
the neighborhood for your "private" use only.  
The water at our Pier is about eight feet deep at the  end of the 
pier gently sloping back to a few inches of water at the sandy 
shoreline.

The house is 2500 square feet and has five bedrooms, three full 
bathrooms and two full kitchens.  Wireless internet is
available via a Sprint Hot Spot connection. 

Upstairs
    • Three Bedrooms, Master w/King bed, Second w/Queen bed, Third w/
bunk (single top, full bottom). Two full bath rooms with walk-in 
showers and a jet tub in the Master bath.
    • Complete Kitchen with Stainless Steel appliances, solid surface
counter tops, plenty of pots, pans, dishes and utensils.  Six chair
table and sitting bar for six or more on bar stools.
    • Family Room has a 40” Flat Screen Sony Television with Dish
TV, DVD, VCR and AM/FM Stereo. 

Downstairs
    • Two Bedrooms, Master w/King bed.  Second bedroom has 2 sets of
single size bunk beds for a total of four single beds. One full 
bath with walk-in shower with a fixed shower 
head and a hand-held shower head  with built in seat (no tub).
    • Complete Kitchen with solid surface counter tops, plenty of
pots, pans, dishes and utensils.  Six chair table. 
    • Den area has a love seat and full sofa with a 40" Hitachi flat
screen TV, complete with a DVD player and Dish Network Satellite 
service. 
    • Full size Washer and Dryer

One block from gas / tackle / convenience store.

3 miles from shopping center with Food Lion, Drug Store, Liquor Store,
ATM, Gas Station, Pizza and other restaurants

15 miles from Roanoke Rapids, NC with amenities of any average sized
city, Wal-Mart, Steak Houses

5 Miles from local public golf course

Lake Gaston information:
Lake Gaston has 350 miles of shoreline reaching five counties in the
two states of North Carolina and Virginia. The main body of the lake
is approximately 1.3 miles across at its widest point and
approximately 35 miles long. With an approximate average depth of 40
feet, it has more than 20,000 surface acres along the Main Lake and
its creeks and coves. Located on the VA/NC border between I-85 on the
West, and I-95 on the East, Lake Gaston is approximately 1.5 hours
south of Richmond, VA and north of Raleigh, NC.  The nearest town is
Henrico.

Off Peak Rates: October 1st - March 31st
Weekly Rent: $850.00

Linens not included, optional for $150 fee. 
Check-in is at 3pm
Departure time is 10am

Money Matters... 

An Initial Payment equal to 50% of your total rental (rental fee +
cleaning fee), a copy of your valid driver’s license, a signed Welcome
Sheet (detailing some of the house rules) and a signed Rental 
Agreement form is due within one week of reserving. If this payment 
is not received, your reservation will be canceled. We will email 
you the forms for you to print. Your balance plus a $300 security
deposit is due at least one month prior to your arrival. Personal
checks are accepted if received at least a month prior to your
arrival. If less than one month before arrival 100% of your total
rental plus $300 security deposit, is due within one week of
reserving. Payment must be by certified bank check only.  Upon receipt
of payments, we will send email confirmation acknowledging your
vacation reservation.  A security deposit of $300 is required with all
rentals. The security deposit can be used to cover the cost of any
telephone charges; lost keys; extra cleaning; unreported damages;
replacement or repair of damaged or missing items. The security
deposit will be returned within 30 days of departure inspection, less
any amounts withheld. The Guests liability is not limited
to the amount of the security deposit. 

Departure Cleaning... Prior to your departure, we ask you to (1)
remove all items from the freezer and refrigerator; (2) run the
dishwasher and return all items to their original place; (3) carry out
all trash;(4) roll city garbage can out to the curb; (5) close and
lock all windows and doors, leaving the property in a secure and
orderly condition. A cleaning service will take care of the heavy
cleaning and the rest.

Policies
• Occupancy:  Maximum occupancy is 12 persons. 
• Non-smoking House: We want to provide a smoke-free environment
 for our guests. Please do not smoke inside the house. 
• Pets: Are NOT allowed.
• Violation of No Pets/No Smoking policies will incur an additional
$250 cleaning fee. 
• Summer season: Weekly rentals only. Sat. - Sat. check in 3PM,
check out by 10AM. 
• Cancellations: Refund of deposit and rent will be made if
reservation canceled at least 30 days before arrival. Otherwise no
refund unless the house can be rented; if rented for less than your 
rate, the difference will be deducted from your refund. All refunds 
subject to $150 cancellation fee.
