Bear Pond Cabin is located in the beautiful upcountry of South 
Carolina in Oconee County near Lakes Jocassee and Keowee. Come visit 
this paradise of clear blue lakes, mountain vistas, tumbling 
waterfalls, cool mountain streams and rushing rivers.  You will find 
our cabin situated on 2 wooded acres with a stocked fishing 
pond.Escape the frantic pace of life and enjoy the beauty of the 
area as you discover waterfalls, trout streams, and the many 
historic sites including American Revolution Battlefields and Indian 
Culture.  You will find information on the many surrounding areas 
and activities in the cabin.

Amenities in our new log cabin with all pine interior include:  
Central Heat and Air, Washer/Dryer, Woodburning Fireplace, Linens 
and Towels provided, and Jucuzzi Tub. 

Accommodations for 6 include a queen bed in the master bedroom, 
double bed in the 2nd bedroom, and a bunkbed in the bunk room.  The 
master bedroom has it's own bathroom with a shower, jacuzzi tub, and 
double vanities.  The 2nd bathroom has a tub/shower.

The kitchen seats 6-8 and includes cooking utensils, 
refrigerator/icemaker, microwave, coffe maker, blender, taoster, 
stove, oven and dishes.

The cabin is located on a private fishing pond and we provide a 
small boat for your use. There are 2 Satellite TVs and 2 DVD/VCRs, 
along with, games, books, and magazines for you to enjoy.

Rock on the covered back porch overlooking the pond and relax!

Guests to our vacation cabin can enjoy an abundance of activities 
including hiking, hunting, boating, kayaking, scuba diving, fishing, 
white water rafting, golfing, canoeing, swimming, cycling, horseback 
riding.  There are many area waterfalls - some with easy access - 
some to hike to.Nearby State Parks include Table Rock, Cearsars 
Head, Devils Fork, Jones Gap, Keowee-Toxaway, Oconee State Park and

Rates: April - October  $170.00 per night
       November - March  $150.00 per night
2 night minimum stay

50% deposit required at time of reservation with balance due 10 days 
prior to arrival. 100% required for 2 or 3 night stays.

Cleaning fee:  $80.00 in addition to nightly rates.

Cancellations: Cancel 30 days or more before arrival date - your 
deposit less a $75.00 fee is refunded.  Cancel within 11 to 29 days 
of your arrival date, we refund 50% of your deposit less a $75.00 
fee. Cancel 10 days or less prior to your arrival date and your 
deposit is forfeited.

Bear Pond Cabin is not available to anyone under the age of 25 and 
we do not allow house parties.  Please be respectful of the few 
neighbors.  No smoking inside the cabin.  See website for more
